The countdown has begun for Britney Spears and her appearance on X Factor which will be in a matter of hours which is the dominating headline without a doubt this week with pretty much anything else just fading in the background. But in the meantime she has been in Europe and she was at the 2008 Bambi Awards in Germany and did a live performance of “Womanizer” at the awards to promote her new album Circus which is due out on 2 Dec the same time as her birthday.
She won the Pop International Bambi Award which is in the shape of a deer and was presented by the legendary designer Karl Lagerfield.
The performance she did on this show we have a feeling may be a taste of what she is performing on the X Factor in the UK tonight. Choreography and dance routines take weeks to rehearse and we know Britney has been working hard on these to get them spot on the money, and it doesn’t make much sense changing everything for a different venue although she may have a variation routine for the X Factor. We also have a feeling this Bambi performance may be a warm up and test and confidence booster for her X Factor performance tonight.
Incredibly significant live performance tonight for Britney as she needs to blow the MTV live performance of a year ago out of the water and show the world that in studio and more importantly live format she is back and she knows this all too well, and she will be taking this performance very seriously. The pressure for her to get this right must be immense!

From what we have seen of this Britney performance it looks in fact to be live!
A last minute cancellation of this appearance cannot be ruled out as Britney can be erratic at times, but from the headlines below and the diva demands she has placed on Simon Cowell to out do even those of Mariah Carey…………it looks like she will be performing!
