A Walt Disney film called Bedtime Stories premiered on 18 Dec in El Capitan Theatre
Hollywood, California. This has premiered already in London in Kensington a week or so ago but the turnout was predicted to be bigger at the US premiere hence the hold out. This is also a strong family film and a closer look nearer Christmas is more relevant as Christmas is all about the family!

This film is billed as a “kids” film but in all fairness we would say this is a “family” film with all ages able to watch this, and also share an unending stream of knee slapper belly laughs in the process. If this is your thing, a few rolls around on the floor could be on the cards as well (at home watching DVD, not in the cinema)

With names such as Courtney Cox, Adam Sandler, Russel Brand repeat Russel Brand, Keri Russell and Lucy Lawless, there’s enough quality and broad range of actors here to ensure that this indeed could be a very good film and the star factor is in abundance to create a huge magnetic pull. With a pretty good plot/storyline as well (see below) this in theory should be a sure fire winner.

Bedtime Stories Trailer HD

Bedtime Stories is a 2008 family fantasy comedy film. The film will be directed by Adam Shankman and will star Adam Sandler (his first appearance in a Disney film). Sandler’s production company Happy Madison and Andrew Gunn’s company Gunn Films will produce the film.

Plot:
Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler), is a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. He attempts to take advantage of the phenomenon, incorporating his own aspirations into one outlandish tale after another, but it’s the kids’ unexpected contributions that turn Skeeter’s life upside down, such as when his niece says that he will die.

Rating:

Purely from what we have seen from the trailer this does look very good, a mixed reception from the critics but this is to be expected with this sort of low brow fantasy/comedy light hearted offering,  but the High Brow Times has rated as 3 stars and from what we have seen from the trailer we like the look of this. It looks to be in the order of a rating of 3 and half stars out 5, it’s a 3 star film, but with the extra half thrown in just because this film manages to appeal to a very wide ranging  audience, something that is not that easy to pull off.

Release date is a very apt Christmas Day! Box office wise this could do really well especially with the crucial release timing!

We are currently working on a NEW FJ Girls called FJ Girls UK which will be featuring only British/UK Female Celebrities with all the latest news and gossip. All the latest TV Show news, videos’ photo gallery, in depth biographies, premieres, fashion, sport, film and music and much more.Features will include the ability to add comments and ratings to some parts of the site and currently this site will be linking into the main FJ Girls Forum (currently being developed) but FJ Girls UK may end up with its own forum or a sub UK forum on the main site, as yet we are undecided. With a distinctly British flavour and a touch of the good old British humour, this site will bring you more in depth coverage of whats happening in the UK female celebrity arena, with the main major headlines still appearing on the main Female Celebrity News as usual. This is a UK only version of the succesful FJ Girls main website and will be a seperate website in its own right but fully integrated with fjgirls.com. The flavour will be a bit of the Times, a dash of the Sun and a sprinkling of the BBC and just a hint of grated FHM and NME/MTV stirred in for good measure…….but not shaken!!.This site is currently being tested and looks  like a building site, but does have some patchy test material.
