Bride Wars is a  film that stars  Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway in the leading roles as two bridesmaids that both catch a brides bouquet at a wedding at the same time and both end up getting marriage proposals, end up with weddings at the same venue but different days, things start off chummy but gradually decline into a bitchy hell when one of them has to change their chosen date/venue as the two weddings end up being booked on the same day. Hence the title Bride Wars.

If ever there was a film for the ladies, this is it, another “Sex and the City” only with wedding bells instead, it remains to be seen whether this will be as succesful.

This film premiere’s in the UK on 8 January 2009, venue is yet to be confirmed, but will more than likely be the Odeon/Empire Leicester Square,  see FJ Girls UK (currently being developed) for further details under Events.

 Rating.  Unrated by us at present, but looks to be in the order of 3 stars out of 5, more information and a closer look on the Premiere Day in the UK. Worth a look. UK release 9 January 09 the day after the Premiere!
