FJ Girls UK and FJ Girls Forum now Live!

Two entirely new ventures for FJ Girls and that’s FJ Girls UK and the FJ Girls Forum. They are now both live and are free to join.

FJ Girls UK

This will now be handling all UK Female Celebrity News, photo’s, video’s, biographies and events. The main site has been changed and stripped from the pre launch version and we will be gradually built up as it gets more visitors. In the meantime all site news and of course UK female celebrity news will be at the all new http://ukblog.fjgirls.com . At the time of writing there was about 4 posts and more will be added on here to eventually rival this blog for content. This part of the site http://blog.fjgirls.com will be going more international with increased focus on the US because lets face it, in celeb terms thats where it is at. Uk headlines will still be here but of the more major variety. Sienna Miller spotted by paparazzi wearing lime green boots popping down to Sainsbury’s will be at FJ Girls UK!

The Forum

This forum is now live and its free to view the posts but to comment and write your own and upload photo’s and video’s you’ve found to support your thread you have to JOIN!This is the uncharted water part of FJ Girls. Could be a flop or just could grow out of all proportion becoming a top resource for female celeb material. Currently 6 tongue in cheek topics that we know will get a response and more will be on their way, Paris Hilton and Cheryl Cole being 2 prime examples.

Miore posts will be on their way, currently we are just adding faq’s we get all the time on search stats where search engines are sending these typed in questions to us which if they occur often enough we will try to answer on the forum such as “Can Cheryl Cole Drive?”

We will also just add news items that are not really worth spending an hour writing an article on but a couple of lines and a link to the news article and possibly a vid and put on the forum gives another source for news snippets similar to what we are doing on Twitter.

Serena Williams wins Women’s Australian Open!

Day 13 and the final day at the Womens Australian Open held at the Rod Laver Arena and Serena Williams proved to the world that even this early in the season she has what it takes to still come out on top.

Many interviews have been conducted with this lady through the tournament and she has been complaining that she has not been playing at her best and that the intense heat has been affecting her performance but obviously not as much as it has been affecting everybody else.

She beat the top class Russian player seeded at No3, Dinara Safina, 6-0 6-3, just two straight sets and the proceedings took just under 1 hour. Not playing at her best….we think not! The pace and class of Serena outclassed Dinara on the day.

This tournamant now brings Serena Williams Grand Slam win tally to 10 and she is now the Worlds No1 womens tennis player and the whole season with the four major Grand Slam titles including Wimbledon are now on her radar.

Is Charlotte Church heading to X Factor??

Rumours…Rumours! A leading tabloid claims that Charlotte Church could be heading to X Factor. Does that mean 5 judges on the panel…….er….NO! Apparently Dannii Minogue may be given marching orders but this is merely speculation at present.

Charlotte has recently had a second baby but if this mere rumour does in fact pan out, the sassy Welsh singer will be sitting next to Cheryl Cole who in all probability will be on the next show. These two have had spats in the past but according to The Sun Charlotte has settled her differences.

Charlotte fans will know she is not afraid to speak her mind and is a feisty character that started in music at a very early age and has vocal ability bar none. An interesting choice of judge that could give Cheryl a serious run for her money. A rumour we are certainly keeping an eye on!

Laura Robson makes it to Austalian Open Girls Final

Laura Robson carries British Tennis hopes into the Australian open for the Girls Final where she will be playing the Russian Ksenia Pervak before the womens’ final of Serena Williams v Dinara Safina.

The brit junior player who is only 15 and originally hails from Melbourne but now lives in the UK a stones throw from Wimbledon managed to beat the World junior No1 from Thailand Noppawan Lertcheewakarn.

The girls final will be held on Saturday.

Lily Allen Live at Koko Camden Town News

Lily Allen performed live at Koko in Camden Town on 28 Jan 09 to a sell out crowd and amongst the fans were Kate Moss and Jamie Hince, Lady GaGa and Jaime Winstone and Mark Ronson, giving her much needed crowd support.

Mixed reception from the critics with regard to her performance with some saying she managed to pull it off with others stating she sounded a bit “croaky”. This one night live event was a taster of her new album “It’s not me, It’s you” and what will be on her tour coming up very soon.

Media sources are betting the new Lily Allen “the Fear” will replace the Lady GaGa current 3 week at No1.

Paris Hilton as everybody probably knows by now has been hitting London promoting her new Best Friend Forever Show which is to appear on ITV. Love her or loathe her she does cause a stir wherever she goes and handles the media like a dream.

She’s been staying at a hotel in Mayfair and was spotted leaving by Splash News heading for a This Morning Interview. (photo below) She’s been spotted last night touring the West End Clubs after her recent Lady GaGa encounter at Punk nightclub. Her latest spottings have been Maddox in Mayfair and Raffles in Chelsea. She was spotted getting very pally with Maddox owner Fred Moss. Earlier in the night she watched her new ITV show at Molton House in Mayfair.

Rihanna at Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash 2009 , Tampa

Rihanna and Fall Out Boy were the opening acts to get the proceedings underway at the Tampa Ford Amphitheatre for the broadcast by VH1 of the Pepsi Super Bowl Smash Show which is the prelude to this weekends SuperBowl XLIII. This is a celebrity puller, we know for a fact the Kardashians are already there and many more will be there for the weekend!

Although Fall Out Boy was part of the line up, the star of the show had to be Rihanna dressed all in black in chunky thigh length leather boots, black bikini top, a pair of high waist knicker bottoms (granny style) which we are not so sure about, and of course her trademark fishnets, all topped with a black classy overcoat. Just normal Rihanna on stage gear. Where’s the whip??

The raunch alert was flashing red and she opened her set with “Disturbia” and then “Seven Nation Army” followed by “Breakin Dishes” and “Shut up and drive” all supported by mega screens and red bikini topped leather clad dancers to add some more sexual vibe just in case you didn’t get the message the first time!

Outside of the Pepsi performance Rihanna is on her world tour and Malaysia was looking to be a bit of a no no, with her performances being rated as too steamy by some Muslim factions in the country, but she has been quoted by news sources as being given the green light by the country to perform there. Whether she will be in thigh length boots and revealing bikini tops remains to be seen.
