Michele Ryan is to appear as Doctor Who’s assistant in an Easter Special and is currently being shot in Cardiff. She is to play Lady Christina Da Souza. The 24 year old British actress who formally played Zoe Slater in Eastenders and also recently had a stint in Hollywood starring in the Bionic Woman film remake.

She has been spotted in the Welsh capital during filming with David Tennant in a red bus, and rumours are now circulating that she may become the full time timelords assistant when Matt Smith takes over the role of Doctor Who in 2010.  During 2009 other actresses/stars are billed to possibly appear alongside the existing doctor with rumours stating Kelly Brook and Lily Allen are the hot favourites.
