After celebrating New Years Eve in Las Vegas with her sisters, Kim Kardashian is another celeb thats in the headlines even if there is not a whole lot going on. More of a KK celeb spotting article than a major headline toting one, a sort of day in the life of Kim Kardashian, she’s quite a business lady this one, fashion and media being her forte.So what does she get up to? We’ve seen one headline from a top source saying Kim Kardashian has been spotted filling up her car??, and other headlines Kim Kardashian gave the paps a “one finger” salute which upset them greatly? but she did have a big smile on her face when she did it.

She’s been spotted by paps at the Ivy (see video below) spotted with celeb blogger Perez Hilton and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney along with Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt making milk shakes?  in the highly rated Ice Cream Parlour “Millions of Milkshakes” and apparenly doing the unthinkable and drinking out of the blender (tut tut), and the real  news hot potato, the Playboy controversy still reigns supreme. Will she or won’t she?

There are increasing headlines around saying that there is a distinct possibility she could be posing for Playboy again soon, and the rumours that she will never pose again are untrue and that she has not snubbed Hugh Heffner.  Whether this is fact, remains to be seen, and fans sleepless nights are set to continue………….believe us we know what you are going through!

 Courtney Love is never far from the headlines and the former lead singer of the band “Hole” and widow to Kurt Kobain of Nirvana fame could be hitting the headlines increasingly again, as the long awaited  album thats been  in the pipeline for a while now called “Nobody’s Daughter” the follow up to her previous solo offering “America’s Sweetheart” looks to be on its way. This previous  album released in 2004, that news sources have quoted her as saying she was not creatively very happy with. This new album “Nobody’s Daughter” was primarily inspired and mostly written when she was in rehab in 2005, an extreme situation if ever there was, and extreme situations can have the habit of bringing out extreme talent and creativity, and this album is highly rated by her, and for fans of her music this is an incredibly interesting development.

This album was supposed to be released on January 1 2009 but has since been postponed for various reasons, and has some interesting sponsors to the tune of $30M, but the physical as opposed to download release looks set to be February 9 2009 with further interesting developments on the dload version.

The sort of woman you love or loathe, and we love her serious attitude here, always a controversial figure, not afraid to express her gutsy views, but it can’t be denied there is heaps of talent here, she definetly rocks musically and in her private life,  and she is a “character” for want of a better word, of the first order.

Kate Moss is the birthday girl today and this lady knows how to throw a party. Stamina and the ability to survive without sleep for long periods are the essential requirements. Casting our minds back to last year if we remember correctly, her birthday all star bash was held at the Dorchester and was for 34 hours, 1 hour for every year of her life. This year is no exception with many sources stating she is holding an all weekender party at her house in St John’s Wood, London and then rumoured to be finished off with the party finale in her house in the Cotswolds, in total an event spread over 3 days!

Guests who are likely to be on the guestlist include Kelly Osbourne, Sadie Frost, Rhys Ifans, Topshop boss Philip Green, Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, Meg Matthews and actress Davinia Taylor.

All sorts of arrivals have been coming at her house with sources quoting crates, more crates and even more crates of booze,  and a strange collection of dead animals including a large tiger skin with head, a whole pig on a spit brought in by butchers and a deers head mounted on a plaque and a stuffed bird display for good measure.

The now 35 year old party animal supermodel has been spotted out in London having pre party celebrations with Jamie Hince in the early hours of this morning stepping out of the Dorchester and arriving back at St John’s wood at  4.30 am before her birthday party proper.

Loads of rumours circulating around this lady at the moment including “the big rock” which she is wearing on one hand and then switching to another to throw the media. Increasing rumours surrounding possible pregnancy with some sources having photos of a baby bump but Kate Moss strongly denies these rumours but rocks and bumps do go together, wedding bell rumours are ringing louder, some wildy interesting days ahead for the media and celebrity bloggers alike..

Amy Winehouse offered a movie role?  Now there’s a headline! Yes Amy Winehouse according to various sources has been offered a movie role as  a music teacher in  a troubled school.

Johnathen Rhys Meyers is possibly also in the running for a role which means Amy could be starring alongside.

There are strings attached. She must stick to her rehab program and show that she is clean before she is offered the role, if these terms are complied she will be offered an acting coach to teach her some new skills to start acting in the role.

Interesting and quite a head scratching development this one, and we will be watching to see how this pans out. She is currently in St Lucia on a sort of rehab holiday originally planned as a New Years break but this has been extended, and she has been hitting the headlines there causing mayhem, nothing new there then.

She has been rumoured for some time now to be getting divorced from her husband Blake Fielder Civil but this has been confirmed by The Times and her spokesperson that the divorce will be going ahead . Amy Winehouse and her holiday romance with Josh Bowman cited as the main reason from Blake Fielder Civil amongst others.

Our money is on Amy to stage a big comeback in some shape or form, she is a total wild card, it could be in her own speciality Music, DJing as she is one on the quiet, Fashion (could be interesting) possibly even TV, maybe Radio, we are as always watching closely……..getting clean and more importantly staying clean are probably the key words here for this lady!

2008 National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Awards Gala was held at Cipriani’s, 42nd Street New York and there was quite a turnout.

Names that attended included Penelope Cruz, Salma Hayek, Naomi Watts, Anne Hathaway, Heather Graham, Dev Patel, Clint Eastwood, Josh Brolin and many more. Some sample full size red carpet shots and also gallery thumbs of the event are included below.

Penelope Cruz grabs the headline at this event for us with her role in the film Vicki Christina Barcelona, a highly rated film by us getting the nod from various awards but yet to win a gong, its Woody Allen directed, its naughty, funny and Penelope Cruz’s acting in this is something else and she won the best Supporting Actress Award for this role.

Gemma Arterton and Hayley Attwell were the official presenters of the nominees for the 2009 Orange British Academy Film Awards which was held at the Bafta Headquarters, Picadilly, London on 15 Jan.

BAFTA presents awards for both TV and Film and the film awards are normally the first event with TV Awards following later in the year.

Kate Winslett who enjoyed double award success at the recent Golden Globe awards has been nominated twice in one category for Best Leading Actress and Freidi Pinto the leading actress in SlumDog Milionaire has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress amongst other big names.
