susanna reid blog Susanna Reid BBC News Reader Bio and Videos HOT SEARCH!

Susanna Reid the BBC Breakfast newsreader is an ultra hot search after we had her performing with Fiona Bruce and Sophie Raworth singing Mamma Mia for Children in Need.

As UK visitors will know she currently appears on weekdays on Friday mornings along with Charlie Stayt and those who watch her closely (and its hard to miss) she has this lovely habit of crossing and uncrossing her legs and is becoming quite famous for it on You Tube and other video share sites, with loads of videos devoted to the Susanna Reid “quick stocking flash” experience. We think this could be the reason why people are getting in a lather.

Whether she’s not aware she is doing it, or whether she is aware and practices at home in front of a mirror, we are not quite sure, but one thing is for certain ………….. a lot of the UK do look forward to Friday Mornings on the BBC and hope this  continues!! Sian Williams who is the main presenter on Mondays to Thurdsays with Bill Turnbull had her last day on Thursday this week as she is off to her have her baby, so the big question is……..will Susanna Reid be on 5 days a during a working week???

Susanna Reid at the Oscars 2008 Red Carpet

Susanna ReidThe most amazing bloopers are here

Incredibly hard to get hold of any decent footage that is a bit different but Metacafe came up with the goods with one video of her in a revealing red carpet dress whilst on the Red Carpet at the Oscars 2008 doing interviews and giving us a twirl, and another which we have hand picked after watching VERY CLOSELY, countless Susanna Reid leg crossing videos, this in our opinion is Susanna in black stockings/tights at her very best getting the maximum impact possible that can be achieved on the BBC!!!

Susanna Reid Biography:

Biography

Susanna Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English journalist and presenter, currently employed by the BBC and best known for presenting BBC Breakfast. Reid was born in England to an English father, of Scottish ancestry and an English mother.

Reid went to the independent Croham Hurst School in Croydon with the comedienne Sue Perkins, and St Paul’s Girls’ School in London before studying Politics, Philosophy and Law at Bristol University.
Career
Reid started her career at BBC Radio Bristol and then become a reporter for BBC Radio 5 Live, as well as latterly a producer.

She then joined BBC News 24 where she spent two years as a reporter, and then presenter. Reid then spent three months doing charity work in Sri Lanka, before becoming a reporter for Breakfast News. After a maternity break, Reid became a presenter on the BBC News channel.

Reid is currently one of the main presenters on BBC Breakfast, presenting alongside Charlie Stayt on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. She has held her current role since 2006, when she replaced Mishal Husain, who went on maternity leave. She is also the regular newsreader during the headlines on The Andrew Marr Show, and can occasionally be seen on Breakfast during the week.

On Friday, February 6, 2009, Reid made a swift, off-the-cuff apology, while hosting BBC Breakfast News with Charlie Stayt, when a wrongly-cued, uncut audio clip of Hollywood actor Christian Bale, featuring the shouted line “You don’t FUCKING understand.” was played on air. This was broadcast live at 6.55am on BBC1 in the UK. The clip was cut immediately and Susanna’s gasps were audible during and immediately after the clip.
Personal life
Reid lives in South London with her long time partner, the sport correspondent Dominic Cotton. The couple married in 2008, and have three boys: Sam Reid Cotton (born Southwark, London, 2002), Finn Reid Cotton (born Lambeth, London, 2004) and Jack Reid Cotton (born Lambeth, 2005).

Reid is a pescetarian, something she reveals regularly in her Saturday morning banter with chef James Martin when commenting on the dishes on his following programme, Saturday Kitchen
