Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel were spotted in New York on set for their latest film “When In Rome”. This new film which is billed as a rom com featuring Josh Duhamel who is the new husband of Fergie, can be seen in this photograph getting shot in the eye with an asthma inhaler, this was part of a reshoot, all part of the hilarious action in this film.
Kristen Bell the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star has recently taken part in a reading of a new theatre production which is to be a stage adaptation of the Winona Ryder film “Heathers”. This theatre production will be a regional tour production that could hit Broadway if succesful and Kristen Bell may be up for the lead role if she can fit in the hard schedule of theatre work with her on going film commitments. 2010 is the anticapted tour start.

Never a dull moment with our Lily Allen, there is always something happening! First off Lily Allen who was officially “on the wagon” is now officially “off the wagon” and is now firmly “back in the saddle” with a vengeance, in other words she’s back on the booze.
The line the leading media are quoting from Lily is “I get a bit parched when performing live and find the whole thing nerve wracking without a couple of drinks”. The good news you’ll be relieved to know is she is not drinking the cheap plonk, but has gone upmarket with designer label wine. Well that’s alright then!
On to her live tour which kicked off in Glasgow on Saturday just gone, in style, the fans went predictably mental, she had a few on stage to lubricate the vocals and was seen at the end of the event being “a bit ill” on the pavement in front of bemused onlooking fans outside of the event venue according to the Glasgow Paper The Daily Record.
She was in the news the other week for getting in “a bit of a tussle” with some paparazzi who were apparently following her too closely in a car and went straight into the back of her, predictably as fans will know things kicked off in the Lily Allen Department. This could have affected her US Tour dates which could have been a nightmare, but according to MTV news she has won a court order for the paps to stop bugging her and her US Tour is still ON. Result!
She hasn’t been back five minutes and she is in the headlines again, this time she has had to appear in court at Westminster Magistrates Court to be precise, this morning, to deny the charge of assaulting a woman on 25 September last year.
As expected she was late for the hearing and a huge crowd turned out outside as information on court hearings is normally available to the general public and anouncements are made in the local paper normally.
She stated her name as Amy Jade Civil and pleaded not guilty to the assault. The hearing was adjourned and will be taking place on 23 July at the same court.
On a lighter note Amy Winehouse has announced some days ago she will be making a live comeback and that she will be performing live at the Shepherds Bush Empire to celebrate the 50th Birthday of Island Records in May 2009. Other big names include Tom Tom Club and Paul Weller. She hasn’t performed live since Bestival late 2008 and it will be interesting how this performance pans out!

FHM have opened the doors to their coveted poll for al readers to cast their vote on the Top 100 Sexiest Women. The poll as far as we can fathom is still under way, but apparently at the time of writing and according to insiders, Nadine Coyle is ahead of Cheryl Cole in the sexiest girl vote.
The lads mag yearly vote is under way and you can cast your vote here voting for your top ten favourites, all votes get collated and the 2009 FHM 100 Sexiest List will be announced later this year.
We wonder what Cheryl Cole has to say on the matter?

Some serious rumours surrounding Rihanna in that there is a strong possibility of a remake of the hit 90’s film “The BodyGuard” which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “Before the situation with Chris, Rihanna was getting a lot of scripts. She has been wanting to do movies for a while now.”
Still in the formative stages but this will be a very interesting move for Rihanna who has just turned 21, but if it does go ahead she will star alongside “GI Joe” actor Channing Tatum.
Recent news surrounding Rihanna and Chris Brown from loads of media sources is that the lawyers are looking for the charges on Chris Brown regarding the assault to be dropped, with the view to “it was an argument between two people passionately in love”. Chris Brown’s lawyers are pushing for a hearing to go ahead next week in Los Angeles according to The Sun.
“The Age of Stupid” Film Premiere was held last night in Leicester Square, London and this was a film premiere with a difference. Billed as the first “Green” film premiere, it was not held in the huge Leicester Square cinemas such as The Odeon or Vue or The Empire, it was held in a solar powered tent in the middle of Leicester Square in the gardens.
Stars who attended included the cast Gillian Anderson of X Files fame, Oscar nominated Pete Postlethwaite and other guests included model Keeley Hazel, singer KT Tunstall, fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and the former Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone.
As it was a green film premiere, there was no red carpet, instead it was green, and visitors were told not to fly in to the event. The stars of the film arrived via green forms of transport including bicycle, solar powered car or rickshaw and it was a decidedly casual affair. The film is crowd funded and had a very green budget of a mere £450,000.
The film is due for UK release on March 20th
Film Plot:
The film is a drama-documentary-animation hybrid which stars Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite as an old man living in the devastated world of 2055, watching archive footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?
The Verdict:
These types of film are normally of a dual purpose, one being a film, secondly and primarily to deliver a very powerful message to make people sit up and listen. Being billed as a film that will not have you in a happy mood when you leave the cinema, its designed to make us realise our own self destructive natures and our over dependance on the black gold as in Oil and formerly coal, amongst other factors contributing to climate change!
This is the sort of film that every man, woman and child should see, our question is will people want to see it, do they want to be made fully aware of “the age of stupid” that we so rightly live in and will it make a difference? Only way to find out is to release such a film, throw in some decents actors and see what happens. This is one of those supreme flop films or one that people will look back on in 2055 and think “if only”, or could be the one that will make a massive impact NOW.
Very difficult to rate such a film and even more so how well this will do in box office terms. A total wildcard of a film and as such we give a rating of Unrated reserved for such style of films which is in no way a reflection on the films quality. The message contained within this film is without doubt a strong one!
