Rihanna has finally been spotted having a night out with some A list friends which included Brandy, Beyonce and Jay Z, she was sporting the jodphur and breaches look, and looked very equestrian, but no horse was in sight.

Photo below shows her leaving a friends flat and the A List Party celebrated a belated Rihanna birthday after the events that occured around that time with her boyfriend Chris Brown.

They hit the town in New York and went to a restaurant called The Spotted Pig in Manhattan and met the celebrity chef Mario Batali. Most importantly Rihanna was looking well and in good spirits.

Rihanna is rumoured to have made up with Chris Brown who has been charged for the alleged beatings but was not amongst the A List crowd on this particular night, which does tend to raise a few questions?

Fergie of Black Eyed Peas fame was amongst many female stars who attended  the March of Dimes annual Beauty Ball in New York which was held at Cipriani. But the main headline is she was sporting a new look, its the dead straight brunette look, and we think it looks very very good. To increase the brunette impact she wore a plain white dress and managed to dazzle on the red carpet with ease.  Her Black Eyed Peas bandmates also attended and they peformed live at the event.

Fergie who has just recently got married to Josh Duhamel on January 10th has kept her blonde style as far as can be remembered and Scarlett Johansson is another female star to take a walk on the dark side, jury is still out on that one, could be the start of a new trend.

Britney Spears has got a new single out from her new “Circus” album called “If U Seek Amy” which has been hitting the headlines of late because of the one minute racy next minute suburbia housewife look and some supposed word play in the lyrics. It is in effect old news as samplers and supposed official videos have been out for a while now as in months, but its getting hold of the official video that is causing the problems.

A copy of the official video has been located, whether the US News at the beginning and at the end is part of the video has yet to be established. This video cannot be guaranteed to be available indefinetly and is below: Our Rating 3 stars out of 5+++++++. It’s OK and we like the video, but technically the song is not her best, but thats just in our opinion!

On the subject of You Tube, it looks like, as users are probably aware, that You Tube has to quote the media “yanked” all new music videos in the UK at least all music videos on its Video share service, this is due to an ongoing  row over licencing fee increases between the Performing Rights Society aka PRS and You Tube headline here.  To cut a long story short, trying to find a official new release music videos in the UK at least on You Tube could prove difficult, how long this is set to last is unclear.  A case in point was trying to find this Britney Spears vide on her website (looked to be deleted) and her You Tube Channel (wanabee fan remix at 1 plus min only) From what we can make out this does not affect existing uploads on official artist sites but this could change.  This news has literally come out this week!

Continuing our series of following Angelina Jolie on her filming of the new spy thriller drama “Salt” things are definetly heating up in the plot department with everything getting progressively more on the edge. Her last filming was days ago in Washington DC (see previous post) but now she has moved on to Midtown Manhattan in New York and she was spotted leaving her trailer on set(photo below).

This new set involves her scaling the outside of a building whilst a bomb blast goes off literally feet away spouting out shards of glass just missing the actress. She was sporting a deep cut to her knee (make up) and this film set brought this part of Manhattan in New York to a standstill as onlookers were spellbound by her performance.

Some extra scenes from the Washington shoot have also been included showing more of her running to escape from whoever or whatever she was trying to avoid with the sheer look of terror on her face as she asks and begs anybody for help!

Rumours , rumours are circulating around this lady yet again with some action scenes on this film  apparently being requested by the lady herself in the future to be toned down which has got the tabloids thinking possible “pregnancy” roots to this request, whether this is all fact or fiction remains to be seen but stunt doubles are not uncommon in this type of film if this is in fact the case, so it would not be a problem. There is also rumoured to be a sniper rooftop chase involving Jolie in the near future in this film, any available footage, and of course it will be here!

We have to say from what limited footage we have seen of this film this does look to be a pretty decent film and could be another Changeling if the action is backed up by an intelligent story line which is normally the case in spy films!

The film as stated many times before looks currently on target for a cinema release in 2010 (Springish) if things continue to progress, as they are.

Normally you use bubble wrap to protect your valuables , well Lady GaGa has taken this a big step further with the “bubble wrap coat” to protect her……er….. valuables….and this bubble coat, the 22 year old wore whilst performing a live 45 minute set in San Diego  last night at The House of Blues. The coat was worn over what they call in the trade a “nude suit” just in case you were thinking it was all bubbles and nothing underneath!

We are not sure this “bubble wrap coat” fashion is going to catch on in the real world, could get some strange looks from your work mates dressed in this outfit, could be interesting, and could cause problems on public transport in the rush hour, question is what do you do when you get a puncture !

Another outfit she wore part of many was the sculpted prom dress but she decided to keep the fishnets!

This is part of her new US tour, San Diego being the first in a 23 date line up going by the name of the “Fame Ball” Tour. Most of the tour material is to be drawn from her debut album called The Fame. The tour finishes on April 11th and ends up in Palm Springs, California!

Now here’s a picture that will bring a proud smile to the nation, Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh of Girls Aloud and Gary Barlow of Take that standing next to the PM Gordon Brown outside No10 Downing Street!

Alesha Dixon, Ben Shephard, Cheryl Cole, Chris Moyles, Denise Van Outen, Fearne Cotton, Gary Barlow, Kimberley Walsh and Ronan Keating that are being hailed as the “Kilimanjaro Nine” all were invited for a cup of tea and a “bit of a chat” at No10 Downing Street with Gordon Brown, expressing his pride and admiration of their recent achievement of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Comic Relief. It is not clear whether chocolate eclairs were on the menu!

The Prime Minister was so impressed he has pledged a further £2M to go to Malaria related work in Tanazania, this will be added to the nearly £1.5M that the celebrities managed to raise from the British Public.

Another star studded event at Paris Fashion Week and the follow up to the Stella McCartney celeb spotting, this time it is Kate Moss at the Chanel Autumn/Winter 09 show. What is significant is she was not actually modelling in the show, she was in the front row with her boyfriend Jamie Hince lead singer of ther band “The Kills” . With that sort of seal of approval from a top fashion icon bar none, it is guaranteed the female celebs will not be far behind, and how right that proved to be!

Chaos was the order of the day when Kate Moss arrived at the event and the paparazzi and press went into a frenzy.

Other stars who attended included none other than Freida Pinto the actress of SlumDog Millionaire fame, Olga Kurylenko the bond girl of Quantum of Solace Fame, Lily Allen, another fashion icon Claudia Schiffer and actress Anna Mouglalis.

The Paris Fashion Week is set to end on 14th March and highlights of the event will be here, with in our opinion the top runway shots!
