Quite a celeb turnout for the London Marathon but the star of the show has to be Katie Price aka Jordan who was there at the event with her husband Peter Andre.  Nell McAndrew, led the celeb pack beating Olympic cyclist Chris Boardman, with the trailers being Gail Emms,  Keith Duffy  who  beat Boyzone mate Ronan Keating, Gordon Ramsay Super TV Chef, Jenni Falconer and Peter Andre and Jordan in that order.

Kate Lawler was also at the event and  ran the race wearing a leopard print mini-skirt! Photo below:

Katie Price managed to lose the heels and don the not so glam trainers to run the 26.2 miles course with her husband Peter Andre, she was doing well until about 18 miles when she managed to twist her knee which then had her struggling for the last 8 miles but Peter Andre coaxed her on. She managed to finish in 7 hours and 11 minutes and also managed to raise over a quarter of a million pounds for her charity called Vision.

The Womens Main race was won by Irene Mitikenko of Germany in 2 hours 22 minutes and 11 seconds and second place fell to Brit runner Mara Yamauchi who came home in 2 hours 23 minutes and 12 seconds. Yamauchi is the Paula Radcliffe contender and has her sights on achieving a medal win in the 2012 Olympics to be held in London and is one to keep an eye on!

Carmen Electra the famous glamour model who also happens to be an actress and is also a dancer and an entertainer. She  had her birthday party which was an all out pool party yesterday on 26 April and her fiance Rob Patterson was present. This has been part of an all week birthday celebration, and she celebrated in style at Wet Republic 2009 Launch of Daylife Sundays held at the MGM Grand Resort Hotel and Casino in none other than Las Vegas.

Carmen Electra who’s birthday is actually on 20 April is famous for her Playboy appearances and also for her appearances in Baywatch and Summerland She has also appeared  in the past with the Pussycat Dolls!

She recorded an album in 1993 called simply “Carmen Electra” and has produced numerous saucy areobics DVD’s. and also appeared in various movies including the following lists of films that may sound familiar:

Christmas Vacation (2000), Scary Movie (2000), Sol Goode (2001), Uptown Girls (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Scary Movie 4 (2006), Hot Tamale (2006), National Lampoon’s Pledge This! (2006), Epic Movie (2007), Christmas in Wonderland (2007), Meet the Spartans (2008) amongst many others.

Her latest film she will be shooting is called “Mardi Gras” and is about a lads party that go away for the weekend in New Orleans to have a raunchy weekend. There are pregnancy rumours but as yet these are just rumours!

Kim Kardashian one of the most famous socialites second only to the likes of Paris Hilton has decided to go for an all New Look. The trademark dark wavy locks are gone and she is now sporting a new “honey” coloured hair style, a look the media has picked up on that is not too disimilar to Beyonce and her look.

The ”Keeping up with the Kardashians” star  was spotted with the new look this Sunday in New York’s SoHo neighbourhood in Manhattan and caused a massive stir with the paparazzi who obviously had a field day. Kim who is all aware that the paparazzi would be out in force for this new KK look, made sure she didn’t miss any photo opportunities and took some photos of the paps just to let them know she’s following them as well as them following her! She then  headed off to Intermix to buy some jewelry and clothes…………. as you do!

Our verdict…………. we really did like the Kim Kardashian brunette look, it was very much her, but this New look, if anything  seems to be equally as good!

Beyonce who stars alongside Idris Elba and Ali Larter in the new film “Obsessed” a fatal attraction style film based on an office romance and the fall out this has on other peoples lives has smashed the US Box Office this weekend and claimed the No1 Spot grossing $28.5 Million.

She recently appeared at the film premiere for the film in New York and also was interviewed on the Letterman Show full details at the Beyonce Obsessed Premiere and Interview article . The Obsessed Film beat of Zac Effron and “17 Again” which grossed $11.7M and Channing Tatum’s “Fighting” came in third at $11.4M.

Beyonce has been quoted saying she would love to appear on “Broadway” and is keen on a challenging theatrical role. She is  currently back on tour and was spotted (photo above) recently at JFK with her mother Tina heading off to Zagreb in Croatia for her next tour date.

Angelina Jolie arrived in Albany on Saturday for the continued filming of “Salt” which has currently been filmed in locations such as Washington DC and New York and now the latest location is upstate New York in Albany. Shooting has been underway the last couple of days with various road closures in place, but it was unclear whether Angelina Jolie would actually be involved in filming this part of the film.

The Albany shoot has some very demanding stunts covering high speed car chases and other dangerous action sequences which have been handled by Angelina Jolie stunt and body doubles, but she has been spotted on 26 April, involved in shooting various sequences where she is clambering on top of a truck moving at speed, but this is a depiction as opposed to the real deal as the truck looks to be actually stationery.

Angelina is rumoured to be in the Albany area possibly for another couple of days and filming will continue till approx 4 May.

Demi Lovato seems to be grabbing our attention here lately, check the Hannah Montana: The Movie Premiere for a red carpet shot there, and she performed live at the Apple Store in Regent Street the other day check out her live vid performance there. We’ve got her down as a monochrome dresser, as she is pretty good looking, she does not need colour, but this photo below has blown that theory right out of the water!

A triple whammy for Lady Gaga, she was in London recently and appeared on the Paul O Grady show on 20 April this week for an interview which we have here, and she performed live singing “Poker Face” her smash hit with a sort of Elton John intro, both videos contain footage of thigh length cream leather boots with black laces and umbrella hat.

Last but not least we have Lady GaGa in Paris caught by X17 who just happened to be in the area, quite handy, walking around with an umbrella and of course that umbrella hat again.

Lady GaGa, we think she’s quite clever this one, not quite in the Emma Watson category but she knows how to manage the media to maximum effect, she’s got the whole fame thing wrapped up in a nutshell, knows how to dress pushing boundaries to the limit making you think you are seeing everything when it reality its all smoke and mirrors and you’re not seeing much at all. The whole Lady GaGa thing is cleverly engineered, its called “branding” and this is a very strong and deceptively clever “brand”!

Vocally we think she is average, she has power but range is always the true test, but she can belt out a song live in power terms consistently from beginning to end whilst performing her dance routines, no miming here! We’ve seen a number of performances beyond this show, and she certainly can put on a performance and her choice of clothing never ceases to amaze. She’s fresh and different without straying too much into weirdoramaville. She’s been musically inclined since a young age, question is will she be around in a few years time, that remains to be seen! Her answer reading between the lines seems to be “Yes”.
