A couple of tunes from the I Tunes live at the Apple store in Regent Street, in a place called London, for those who didn’t manage to get tickets, 2 live raw videos and we mean raw. First off the compulsory “The Climb” and secondly a duet called “Thrill Billy” complete with manic hysterical teen fans. The songs feature somebody by the name of Miley Cyrus and her dad going by the name of somebody called Billy Ray Cyrus. Apparently they are famous! News to us!
Miley Cyrus ??? ……………. why does that name name ring a bell, sure the memory will come back soon, in the meantime whoever she is, one things for sure, she’s pretty damn good live, apparently she’s only 16, she knows a few nifty dance moves, and looks like she’s a dab hand at head bashing. Think she has a promising future ahead whoever she is. Now what is the name of that TV show and movie that premiered the other day ??????

Filming has commenced in Albany, New York State for the film “Salt” with various road closures throughout the Albany area to enable high speed car chases as part of the film action scenes.
Angelina Jolie as at 24 April was not in Albany but her stunt and body doubles were filming the more dangerous parts of the film that Angelina would not be expected to undertake. She was spotted in New York city today walking to the New York set of “Salt” in the East Village area carrying a book entitled “War of Necessity, War of Choice: A Memoir of Two Iraq Wars”.
Filming Continues on Saturday and it is still unclear whether Angelina Jolie will be involved in filming in the Albany areas. If she is and footage is available it will be here! Also check the fox23 news channel website for any further news!

Beyonce is back in the headlines with a bang, double headline, she has a new film out on Friday its called “Obsessed” and this article is a double feature with her featured on the Letterman Show on 22 April where she was promoting her new film, and also the Cinema Society and MCM screening was held last night 23 April at the School of Visual Arts in New York. This looks to be Beyonce’s acting follow up to “Cadillac Records” where she played Etta James.

Plot:
Quite a simple one. A successful asset manager, who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage. But when a temp worker starts stalking him (Larter), all the things he’s worked so hard for are placed in jeopardy. The cast includes Idris Elba, Beyoncé Knowles, Ali Larter, Bruce McGill, Scout Taylor-Compton, Ron Roggé.
The Verdict.
Female stars including Ali Larter and Beyonce, guarantees the beauty factor is in abundance in this film. Other actors here are not so well known with us here. Obsessed is a sort of modern day “Fatal Attraction” which starred Glen Close and that was an incredibly good film, and is one hell of a tough act to follow. If you’ve seen it you’ll know what we are talking about, if you haven’t, see it!
The storyline in Obsessed is good and pretty true to life, as these things do go on in the real world, and from what we have seen it looks a gripping film, but just three things let it down. Firstly, just don’t know why, it has a slightly TV movie feel about it, just slightly, secondly acting looks reasonable but is not outstanding, and thirdly we do like originality and there is a slight borrowed feel to the story line here with a different “Fatal Attraction” twist.
All 3 are mark downs in our books but minor ones, from a neutral rating of 3. A film still worth seeing for the Beyonce and Larter factor none the less. All You Tubers are giving the thumbs up. We are firmly slightly below neutral.Rating 2 and half stars out of 5. Box office wise it really is anything goes with this film, No1, or total flop, or anything in between. Depends what else is out there at the time!
Whilst Miley Cyrus has been hitting the headlines and hogging the limelight, another teen star has been visiting London that is Demi Lovato and she has been busy. The brunette stunner TV Star and Singer who has a new song called “Don’t Forget” had a busy schedule that took in a visit to the BBC Studios to promote her new album, attending the Hannah Montana: The Movie Premiere held in Leicester Square last night and also performing live at the Apple I Tunes Store in Regent Street at an exclusive live gig with entrance and tickets to competition winners only.
We think she may have had a throat infection or similar as she tweeted on her twitter page ““My throat is on fiiiiire. Anyone wanna bring throat stuff to the show tonight? I’ll love you forever.” Somebody did bring in some cough sweets! Performance is below, not bad considering, and good enough to be here!

Las Vegas Strip Peepshow job offer, Burlesque dancing, severe weight loss, she’s now into men, she’s pining for Sam, she’s got a boyfriend, she hasn’t, things are bad, things are A OK, the headlines have been staggering, nothing seemed to gel for us here and we’ve waited for something more concrete to emerge and what better than a Lindsay Lohan interview with non other than Ellen Degeneres.
Ellen is a good interviewer, and a clever one at that, and can manage to get all the information right down to the highly personal stuff all laced with her trademark humour. She has a knack of getting that highly personal stuff with her “you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to approach”. Important interview for Lindsay this one, as its a chance for her to put the media, general public and bloggers right, a chance to shoot down all rumours and get some things off her chest and put things straight. whether it works remains to be seen!
Essential viewing for Lindsay fans as there are huge concerns about this lady. The interview was aired last night on US TV. One thing is for certain she looks well but……the reported weight loss is Fact!
Miley Cyrus was in town for the premiere of her film Hannah Montana-The Movie which was held at the Odeon, Leicester Square. A long time getting here with one of the first premiere’s being in LA (see post) then a non stop whistle stop tour of Europe taking in major cities such as Rome and Madrid and finally ending up in London to appear for the UK leg. She arrived in the UK early Thursday morning see previous post for photo. We’ve gone into more detail than usual on this Miley visit due to the overwhelming amount of interest in this young lady …………….. verging on hysteria!
We are taking a different angle on this premiere with a couple of “Pre Premiere” shots you may not see anywhere else, to give you an idea what the casual Miley is all about and some stars with crowds in background shots, for those who were there! Top Shop is two thumbs up from Miley and a visit to the Oxford Street flagship store was a main priority apart from the film premiere, check her tweets for that. She’s due to appear live today Friday at the Apple Store at Regent Street and its competition winners only for the tickets none are for sale, but if you head down there you may catch a glimpse of her going in or coming out.
FJ half watched on cam whilst pumping out other female celeb news, and it wasn’t mega crowded but just busy like any normal premiere. A beautiful night weather wise, and a stunning Miley who wore a mini dress with her trademark warm smile and looked the biz and walked the carpet signing fans autographs with her father Billy Ray Cyrus who also attended. As far as we are aware there was no hoe down throw down routine from Miley, and no stiletto heel hurling either.
Names that attended the event included Bianca Gascoigne, Billy Ray Cyrus, James Nesbitt, Jason Donovan, Jemima French, Mitch Hewer, Nicola McLean, Pixie Geldof, Thomas Law, Jemma McKenzie-Brown and Peter Jones. Demi Lovato was also in town and attended Miley’s film premiere see photo below

The Plot and Verdict:
Hannah Montana big time star gets into a shoe fight with Tyra Banks (do you know who i am?) and as a result has to eat humble pie and is sent back by her dad to her hometown Crowley Corners in the very ordinary and down to earth Tennessee, where there is not a stretch limo in site but plenty of cows and chickens, to teach her some life lessons and give her a bit of grounding. Cows mooing, chickens clucking, stiletto’s hanging out of walls ………………. Hmmmmm!
Trailer based only this verdict/rating, but from what we have seen here, got to say in all honesty……………………..this does look pretty good stuff, had us laughing here, features 12 new Miley songs, its very Disney and obviously geared up to a younger audience but is watchable by a more mature audience as well. Not the most complex of films by any stretch of the imagination so it will not land top marks there, and we can almost hear the critics choking on their pop corn and trying to say “tut tut” at the same time, , but what the hell we like it, we like Miley, its wild, wacky and fun with a capital F.
Miley puts in a solid performance. Box office wise this thing looks to be an absolute flier, N01 and nothing less, but we could be wrong on that one. Bearing in mind the audience its geared up for, we are going with a Rating of 3 stars out of 5. We think another ray of sunshine success story for Miley without a doubt hence why she is Female Celebrity of the Month for April at FJ Girls and one that is on our radar to keep an eye on!

Audrina Partridge star of hit TV program “The Hills” was spotted on Robertson Boulevard in LA by the paparazzi, she had popped to the Curvee Cafe for a bit of refreshment and was sporting the casual look with grey t shirt, sandals and jeans with the obligatory celeb shades and mega bag She was very up for a bit of paparazzi photography, all smiles and didn’t mind one bit, even posing for a few shots. We just liked the shot and wanted to have it here!
But the real headline which has a bit more juice to it, is Audrina Partridge will be stripping down to her underwear to feature in a new PETA Ad campaign called Angels for Animals with the aim being for people to adopt animals rather than buying them. Its all very good stuff, what has us scratching our heads here, do you need to take most of your kit off to achieve this objective. Either way, if Audrina wants to strip down to her underwear for a good cause thats fine by us…………………………. we are not complaining!
