“The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala was held last night at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and the turnout for this event was truly of staggering proportions the likes of which we have not seen since the Oscars.

Without a doubt one of the top fashion events of the year. This event is an annual fundraiser, which attracts designers, actors, models and athletes, and  Wintour, Jacobs, Moss and Timberlake co chaired the event.

This was a red carpet event of the first order. The most photographed on the night was Jessica Biel followed by Kate Hudson in her gold number with Liv Tyler a close third and Madonna pipped to fourth, , but Kate Hudson did it for us (again) and grabs the headline beating off some big stunner names here including the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Leighton Meester. Cindy Crawford and the never ending  list goes on!
