If you’ve seen the original “Wanted” which starred Angelina Jolie you’ll know she dies at the end and quite convincingly, so much so you are left with the impression that there is not the even remotest hope of a Wanted 2, let alone a return of Angelina Jolie, which makes it very difficult to have Angelina Jolie back at the helm if she’s been killed in the first one.

But this is the movies, anything can happen, people come back from the grave and according to the Examiner and an interview with the Russian Director Timur Bekmabetov he had this to say about the sequel to Wanted:

“In July we will start preparation for the film. I think in the late autumn or winter shooting will be performed” – Mr. Bekmambetov said to RIA Novosti. “The shooting will take place in America, India and Russia” – he added that he promised to bring back to life Angelina Jolie’s character, who perished at the end of the first movie. In addition to that, new characters will be introduced in the sequel.” Examiner

Now this would coincide very nicely with Angie’s filming of Salt which will probably in all likelihood be finishing before then. Just one thing though, we remember her saying in an interview a while back that she would be spending less time involved in movie production/filming and more time with her massive family and gradually fading away out of the film business. Easier said than done by the looks of things when you are this big, we have a feeling she will be around for some time to come……..we hope she is!
