Shock news, just after running a special feature on Maria Sharapova due to the huge amount of interest in this lady and her comeback, we know everybody is rooting for her including this site, but Maria Sharpova is OUT of Wimbledon in merely the second round. It was to be expected but not so early in the tournament. This is only her second tournament of the season after playing the French Open, and is gaining fitness as we speak through top level game play after a long time away, but all the other players have spent the whole of this season building up to this event and ex World No1 or not, fitness gained through a seasons play will win the day.
