The LiLo SamRo Chronicles Part 3

With regards to Lindsay Lohan and her love life, tossing a coin in the air and calling heads or tails would be just as accurate as trying to keep up with the her latest goings on, with the question always being “Is it on……………or is it off?”

Here’s what the paps had to say a couple of days ago with a photo sighting

Lindsay Lohan spends another night at Samantha Ronson’s house. This time there was no fighting and Lindsay looked like she was in a very good mood as she left the house this morning. Photo June 25 : Splash News

Lindsay coming out of Sams house again!!!

We are now up to the Lilo SamRo Chronicles Part 3 and we are off to a good start with the pap angle, this really looks to be filled with good news.

First off according to a respected media source she went to a Los Angeles Night Club by the name of Club Villa on Tuesday Night 23 June to see her ex-girlfriend DJing. At around 2am on the following morning they left and they were seen driving home together in Samantha’s black Porsche. This has been born out by footage from the pap website x17. SamRo then took her dog for  quick walk and was asked by the paps whether it is indeed “Back On” but there was no comment to the question.

The LiLo Twitter page mentions that she will be going to Las Vegas this weekend to celebrate her upcoming 23rd birthday which is on Thursday 2nd July. Pre birthday celebrations are being held on Saturday June 27 at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic where there will be a poolside party and also a product launch of her Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist.

She was spotted in Beverley Hills on 26 June Friday going shopping with her younger brother getting “stuff” for the weekend!

So LiLO and SamRo is possibly “back on” BUT is it “ON” enough for SamRo to attend LiLo’s birthday celebrations in Las Vegas on Saturday. Its now not a question of whether it is “ON” or “OFF”, it is now a question of “HOW ON”, it really is?

The nail biting and sleepless nights over the LiLo SamRo Chronicles will continue in Part 4 very soon!

Britney Spears Spotting and is she Engaged???

Rumours and headlines surrounding Britney Spears and her rumoured boyfriend Jason Trawick who also happens to be her talent agent, with increasingly “engagement” being the buzz word, its not a new headline but one that is gathering steam rapidly.

Still yet to be confirmed but there’s sufficient noise on the wires and from paps recently especially the last few days after her return from the UK that we thought this needs a closer look and a bit of photographic investigation backup to these tongue wags. Also a bit of insight into how we unravel these sort of situations as its all highly personal and tricky stuff, get it wrong and at best….you look an idiot! Photo below Jason Trawick and Britney Spears June 26 Splash News hover over photo for pap info.

Britney Spears with boyfriend Jason Trawick holding hands in L.A.

A news detective article this. The latest buzz is all based on a ring, similar to the recent LiLo saga. These sort of rings are easily bought and slipped on the finger to cause a bit of a media rumpus but we think this just may not be the case here, but this is all speculation none the less, and this article is a demonstration of how a headline may be arrived at.

Her recent trip to the UK she was spotted in London doing a spot of basics shopping and in the photo below there is no “Ring” on the hand and finger in question. Could have been taken off when leaving the hotel, may have been left in LA, could be in her pocket, could be in her bag,  or just maybe there was no ring at that time. Nobody will ever know apart from Britney. Photo taken on Thursday 17 June London: PacificCoastNews

**RESTRICTIONS APPLY** A bra-less Britney Spears makes a quick dash to Boots the Chemist for some Oxy spot treatment

Now check when she is back in LA on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills on 25 June and what do we have here. Said ring, on said hand on crucial finger and being flashed maybe intentionally or maybe not! Same sunglasses we notice and same bag hence the current media buzz. Photo: Splash News

Britney Spears clothes shopping in Beverly Hills, CA

This is just a taste of how sometimes headlines are arrived at, ring is not focused enough to make out whether it is “that sort” of ring but it looks in all probability to be a ring of “that sort”.

Now throw this into the mix;

Britney ‘not engaged to Trawick

The Press Association - ‎Jun 17, 2009‎

Britney Spears is not engaged to her boyfriend, agent Jason Trawick. “There’s no truth to it at all… Britney is not engaged,” a source told People.com,

and things start to  get very confusing indeed, Press Assoc are highly respected and tend to get things right but then the article is by People which tends to be a bit more on the goss side and who is the quoted source,  and  that headline is over a week old so it loses cred very rapidly which brings us round full circle back to where we started.

So the answer to the original question in the headline “Britney Spears Spotting and is she Engaged???”. Answer whilst scratching head….haven’t got a clue…… but if they are not engaged now, things are certainly looking to be heading in that direction in the future, from what we are seeing between the lines and photo wise………… But then again maybe they are just very, very good friends and nothing more???

Lily Allen and Glastonbury Festival Day 2 26 June Photo and Video Highlights

Did we say “scorching and dry” is the forecast for Glastonbury in our last post, may have got that a bit wrong………….just a little bit.  Scorching and very wet in places, is probably the more accurate description, but then again that is nothing new at Glastonbury and its all part of the Glasto fun……………….get those wellies out? Glastonbury Festival 2009 - Day 2
Day 1 is up and coming acts and a sort of warm up to the main part of the Festival which we don’t cover and is the lead up to Day 2 on Friday  Day 3 on Saturday and the finale Day 4 on Sunday. Photo below: Getty

This is a look at Day 2 with of course the artist and performance highlights and a few shots of the crowd as well. Michael Jackson passing away  obviously hit the event and various tributes were made throughout the day in some shape or form.

Glastonbury Festival 2009 - Day 2

Lily Allen

Love her or hate her, and we defiantly love her here, Lil Lily grabs the main headline as we think she had the edge in the looks department over Lady Gaga with her pink wig and stonker heels, she was looking incredibly good, mixed reception from the masses, but we love her attitude and there’s plenty of it. Her music style  is typical brit humour lyrics with a dash of girly wriggles and  cig in hand sort of style. No1 Single and No1 Album in the UK charts just recently to her cred , any Lily doubters have had to eat their words this year and then some.

She has an unusual way of marketing her albums with lines like “i’m not sure people are going to like this” and other nail biting statements which have all proved to be unfounded as she’s enjoyed huge success. Rumours of a third album possibly and also rumours abound she wants to quit all this fame and lead a normal life without being hounded by paps and maybe run a business. Which it will be is anybodies guess, but thats all part of the Lily Allen scenario.  Judging by the photo below we think she could be round a while yet.  Lady GaGa

Fresh from her world tour which has recently taken in Europe, US and  Australia , Lady GaGa is renowned for her outrageous outfits, props  and stage performances to rival the likes of people like Katy Perry. She’s pretty good live and pretty loud, she is proud of the fact that she does perform live and is no mime act! “Poker Face” and “Just Dance” being an example of her works both No1 hitters. She’s fairly new on the global stage but is going down a storm, plays piano like nothing else and is famous for wondering around in skimpy outfits that leave very little to the imagination. She’s caused a few raised eyebrows amongst other female artists this year, and can boast  having Madonna in her audience watching her perform live, just to see what the fuss is all about and also getting the thumbs up! Manchester originated indie style band who formed in Salford to be precise, comprising of just two members, Jules De Martino who is back up vocals and drums and Katie White who is lead vocals and guitar. They recently appeared at the Coachella Music Festival (photo above) held in the states they have a unique sound which we remember Katie White once saying at an awards ceremony in her acceptance speech  ”and thanks to our record company for letting us keep our original sound” or something along those lines, thats a rare thing indeed these days and something that The Ting Tings are quite proud of. “Thats not my Name” and “Great DJ” are a sample of their hits. Individualistic is how we would describe “The Ting Tings”, an acquired taste but once you’ve got it, there’s nothing else out there like it!

Real name Victoria Hesketh, who used to be the lead singer of Dead Disco and who has now gone solo is now in the media spotlight big time, and her new album “Hands” which was released recently on 8 June and peaked at number 5 in the album charts with her most famous single being “New in Town”. She plays all sorts of instruments  of the electronica type but the japanese tenori-on, which is a handheld screen type musical instrument she uses frequently, that  is her trademark. Again very individual sound and somebody to watch closely in the future.

Russian born but American singer, songwriter and pianist she is from the music scene called anti-folk and her influences that are displayed in her musical style include  folk, punk, rock, Jewish, Russian, hip hop, jazz, and classical music. What a mixture, add convincing vocals to the mix and you have a quality set up. She’s been around some time now 1999 to be exact and has 5 albums to her name excluding the collection style sort of albums, the latest album offering being called “Far” which was released earlier this year.

Victoria Azarenka and Wimbledon 2009 Day 5 Results!

A good day for Serena Williams World No2 and Victoria Azarenka (photo below) World No8 who are now through to the fourth round of Wimbledon 2009 with match play taking place on Saturday. Other top seeded players that are through to the next round include Nadia Petrova World No10 and Elena Dementieva World No4. Full details of reults below. Below Victoria Azarenka playing Sorano Cirstea on Day 5. Photo: Getty

The Championships - Wimbledon 2009 Day Five

Ear-splitting sounds which are classed as grunts in tennis circles emanate from the likes of Maria Sharapova,  or new player in town Michelle Larcher de Brito being hailed as one of the loudest with her opponent in the Frech Open telling her to “shut up” and the crowd also moaning in disapproval!.

Victoria Azarenka from Belarus is amongst the worlds top in this field and some people say it gives her an unfair advantage over her opponent with these loud groans off putting to opponents affecting their game play. There are at present no real rules on this but with Victoria Azarenka ranked as World No8 and in the Top 3 for loudness in the grunt department, her chances of winning Wimbledon look promising and although No8 in Seeding, this little unfair advantage combined with excellent game play just could put her into the finals and maybe even win the event!

Sorano Cirstea of Romania who is now out of Wimbledon 2009 for some reason is coming up as a hot search on this site. We wonder why? Couldn’t have her as a headline as she didn’t win, but a photo of her prior to her departure from the tournament would be good. Photo below of her playing Victoria Azarenka on Day 5. Photo: Getty

Jelena Jankovic and Womens Wimbledon 2009 Day 4 Results

A better and more positive  day today results wise at Wimbledon with no major upsets like the one we had with Maria Sharpova yesterday, with all the major names making it comfortably through to the Wimbledon 2009 next round. Jelena Jankovic photo: Getty

The Championships - Wimbledon 2009 Day Four

Jelena Jankovic grabs the headline today, she won convincingly in 2 straight sets beating Iveta Benesova 6-2, 6-4 with her sailng through into the next round. Jelena Jankovic former World No1 of 2008 at the end of the 2008 season is currently World Ranked and Seeded No6. A good position to be in, high enough to be noticed and taken very seriously but not so high that this places undue expectations and pressures to win this tournament. This just may help her cause, and keep her cool and level headed and is one to watch.

All the other big names are through including Dinara Safina World no1, Svetlana Kuznetsova World no5 and French Open winner, Venus Williams World no 3 plus the incredibly lovely Ana Ivanovic World no13 always good news when she goes through!

Injuries or suspected injuries are Dinara Safina suffering minor problems but this is under control and Venus Williams who wore a knee support during game play on Thurdsay but strongly denied any problems in that area!
