Katie Holmes for Sex and the City 2?

The Sex and the City the sequel currently being billed as “Sex and the City 2″ is hitting the headlines increasingly and filming as of yet, has not even started. Loads of names entering the fray as possibilities with Katie Price aka Jordan being billed as a possibility and who has had talks with production, and now Katie Holmes is a name that looks to be a likelihood to appear alongside the original cast according to The Sun. Katie is currently filming in OZ where it is now winter, photo below.

If this is the case Katie Holmes must be one of the busiest actresses out there at present rivaling the likes of Jennifer Aniston who has had a truck load of film roles recently. If she takes this role, that has at present only been offered to her, she will play a no messing New Yorker business woman who gets involved with Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) and sparks are set to fly.

If Katie accepts the role filming is set to begin later this summer, date as yet unknown, and the release date is looking to be Late May 2010 if filming goes according to plan.

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner were spotted on set, filming on location in Los Angeles for a new film called “Valentines Day” which is about the pressures and expectations of this big day and it focuses on singles and couples. Emma Roberts relation of Julia Roberts, is one of the co-stars and yes you’ve guessed right, it’s yet another rom com.

This really is a star packed film featuring the following line up of which Taylor Swift is a very recent addition:

Pussycat Dolls Split or Not?

Ashley Roberts was spotted leaving the Metropolitan, a Mayfair Hotel in London last night in tears telling fans waiting outside they had split up. Photos have been seen and not published here. Rumours have been surrounding Pussycat Dolls for some time now with the main reason being the prominence of Nicole Scherzinger at live events and also video performances and the conflict this is causing with the other dolls. “This is the last time we’ll be in the UK as a band. We’ve broken up. We’re sorry.”

A spokersperson has denied any of this saying they are due next to perform in Beirut and the Pussycat Dolls are still together.

Whats a complete mystery with this headline is, Pussycat Dolls have been around for some time now, Nicole Scherzinger has also been pretty much the lead or dominant doll in this set up, why all this fuss now after all this time…..thats whats getting us scratching our heads here??? You could go further and say if you take Nicole out of the mix altogether…..what’s left???

The Broken Emraces Film Premiere was held last night at Somerset House in Central London and not the usual Leicester Square, London venue and marks the start of the Film4 open-air cinema season which will take place at this venue over the next ten days featuring latest releases and also cult classics.

The incredibly Classy Penelope Cruz was the star of the show and was joined by the films director Pedro Almodovar and this is the 4th film that Cruz has worked with Almodovar the Spanish Director.

She looked stunning in a Red Trouser Suit number with classy wedgies which is made all the more amazing as there is a bit of a story behind this outfit. It was not the original one planned, that got lost by baggage handlers at the airport and this was a reserve outfit for that “just in case” scenario. You could say it was a wardroble malfunction of a different kind as in “no wardrobe” at all. You can be a top celebrity and even fly first class but that does not guarantee that your luggage will arrive at the same time or even same place, even if you are attending a film premiere and your name is Penelope Cruz!

Cheryl Cole and X Factor Boot Camp Auditions, London

The X Factor Boot Camp auditions were held in London at the Hammersmith Apollo on July 28th and the whole X Factor judging crew were there including Cheryl Chole who recently returned back from LA after working on her solo album project, Dannii Minogue who also has been in LA, Louis Walsh and of course Simon Cowell.

Mass auditions have been held around the country earlier this year and tens of thousands of hopefuls attended these events across the UK with the hope and dream of making it to the X Factor finals.

The number has been whittled down to 300 for the boot camp stage and these hopefuls decended on the Hammersmith Apollo to carry on further auditions and they will perform live on Saturday and in front of a 2000 strong audience as well as the judging panel, a new one for this show. After this audition the number will be cut to 24 on this Saturday performance and this will be further reduced to 12 who will be the ones that finally appear on the TV show live.

The X Factor show is due to air next month.

Sugababes and “Get Sexy” new single audio sampler!

A new sexy number from Brit Girl Band Trio “The Sugababes” called “Get Sexy” and this is an important offering as they are looking to use this number as well as their new album as a means to go “large” and crack stateside something they claim “Girls Aloud” has never been able to do..

The sampler below is audio only but we’ve seen some captures from the video which is as yet to be released and its all steamed up glass rooms, huge heels, laser lashing, chains and of course none of that wouldn’t mean anything without pvc leotards. A couple of years back this would have been earth shattering stuff, but all female artisits are using this high octane approach in some shape or form now, so this is nothing new.

This new single is from a new album which is due for release later this year and is a production that has involved the Roc a Fella record label a new Jay Z venture which they signed onto back in April this year with the aim of cracking the US market.
