Mariah Carey who recently did a shoot for her new single called “Obsessed” around the end of June in NYC, now has the official video released which has been out a few days now and link is below.

Main headline though is her new album called “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel” which was due for release on August 25th has now had to be moved forward to a later date now being billed as September 15th. Whether there are some problems with promotion, distribution or anything else is unclear, but another diva by the name of Whitney Houston who is making a comeback with her new album “I Look to You” her first in seven years, we just have a suspicion may have something to do with it!

Mariah was also rumoured to appear on “America’s Got Talent” which now looks to be confirmed by the shows producers NBC and she will probably be appearing on the first results episode which will take place on August 5th.

Eva Longoria was at the latest filming for the Season 6 of the Wisteria Lane Chronicles commonly known as “Desperate Housewives”. She is  to appear in this new seasons outing and photos of her looking “pretty in pink” are below whilst on set, but its looking increasingly likely that she now has her own agenda now she has bought property in France where she recently returned from a camping trip. As fans know she has her own restaurant called Beso with rumours she may be opening a second. She’s a bit of a business woman is our Eva!

Recent news,  she is to be the front woman for an advertising campaign promoting “Heineken” lager and she will be fronting a new TV ad  promoting the famous Dutch brand which will be promoting the new ”Heineken Light”. She is very famous for her efforts in the Magnum Ice Cream ads and Magnum’s we think will never be looked at in the same way ever again, after seeing Eva Longoria and her provocative promotional TV ad escapades. Bebe Swimsuits and L’Oreal Hair colour are her other famous ad ventures.

The Heineken  ad apparently will feature two fans who are upgraded to courtside seats alongside Eva Longoria at a basketball game, involving her husband Tony Parker’s team the San Antonio Spurs. Could be interesting……. where the lager fits in we really don’t know, but if it’s got Eva in it then thats fine by us!

There’s also murmerings that when she finally does finish “Desperate Housewives” she wouldn’t mind starting to act in films, these are just very faint murmerings at present, but again could prove to be another interesting development.

Jennifer Aniston on set of “the Bounty” with Umbrella? This is a one photo article and a deliberate very dull but intriguing headline and is merely a photographic study of Jennifer Aniston whilst filming for her latest film and is just a general observation on stars in general and a phenomenom we call “the shine”.

This is one of those pictures that “stopped” us dead in our tracks whilst looking through photo feeds of tons of photos and it sort of jumped out, it’s a strange thing  and something that happens after looking at many pictures over a long period of time. It’s not really an amazing shot, there’s nothing spectacular going on here either,  but there is a subtle phenomenom in the photo that is of interest and it leaps out in a spectacular manner for those with a trained eye.

This photo looks to be taken whilst Jennifer was walking to the set as opposed to actually being filmed on set and she is deep in thought probably chewing over lines and how she is going to tackle the next scene. Whats striking about this photo is what we call “the shine” factor that is clearly visible even with Jen just walking down the road with umbrella in hand. All the other people surrounding her look quite ordinary but Jen clearly shines and thats on a drab wet day in NYC with zero lighting effects. It’s as if a mini spotlight is beaming down on her. It’s something that is clearly visible on Jen but is lacking with everybody else in the photo!

Umbrella with white panels will have a slight effect in this and make up also helps,  but even if these factors  were taken away, it would still be there. Just one of those shots that unravels the mystery why stars are stars, its not just talent and good looks and being in the right place at the right time, but star quality and ”the shine” principle is a very big factor in the fame game!

Desperate Housewives, a bit of a US institution now entering its sixth season and with the normal stars featuring including of course Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Dana Delaney and Felicity Huffman  with some newcomers to add some Season 6 extra spice  including sopranos star Drea DeMatteo and Jeffrey Nording who play a couple from New York who have moved to the now legendary “Wisteria Lane”

By all accounts Season 5 (FJ is not a DH follower) ended with everything up in the air with a wedding scene with Mike getting married but it wasn’t clear WHO?

Shooting has now started to get the new season underway and maybe cure those sleepless nights and shed some light on WHO is taking the plunge, and photos below show possibly two brides that will be appearing in this wedding scene to get season 6 underway. WHICH one is getting married………..haven’t got the faintest idea!

The all important Season 6 start date looks set to be airing on Sunday 27th September at 9pm US time.

Charlize Theron the South African actress a Chelsea supporter, now there’s a name to add to the supporters club? She was spotted the other day at the  World Football Challenge between Chelsea FC and Inter Milan at the Rose Bowl on July 21, in Pasadena, California where she was presented with a Chelsea Jersey before the match as pictured below..

A bit of a head a scratching headline, visions of Charlize in goal or playing in mid field in heels could be interesting, but this is all in the name of charity and Charlize who is involved in the Africa Outreach Project is working with the London based Chelsea football team to help set up football programs in South African Communities for underprvileged children. The Chelsea FC and Inter Milan friendly match helped to raise the proceeds to fund this charitable venture. Other celebs on board include Ashton Kutcher and Will Ferrell.

This spear heads a new category on this site called simply “Charity” which will feature headlines from female stars and what they do to raise money for good causes and other charity type work. By the way Chelsea won!

Megan Fox apparently was lined up to star in the latest Bond Film installment, but has turned down the role that is every actresses dream and that is to appear alongside Daniel Craig in the follow up to Quantum of Solace according to the UK Paper “The Daily Star”.

The Transformers Revenge of the Fallen star has been quoted as saying the role she was offered was merely playing a James Bond love interest, and she is interested in playing a more central role in the film. The  production team of the as yet untitled film, according to the UK Paper, may have to look elsewhere to fill this role, unless they cave in to Megan’s film role demands. Finding a replacement could prove quite easy but Megan would have been a superb choice.

A double snub from Megan Fox snubbing not only Daniel Craig but also the Bond Film Franchise, she doesn’t mess around when it comes to snubbing!

Second headline her latest film which is a high school horror flick where she plays the ravenous highly desirable high school girl from hell in “Jennifers Body”, looks to be appearing at the Toronto film Festival 2009 as part of the Midnight Madness Movies offerings alongside such other films as George A Romero’s “Survivial of the Dead” a zombie gore special amongst other flicks including vampire and martial arts style films. The Toronto Film Festival will be running from September 10-19

It is not yet clear whether Megan Fox will be attending this event but if any footage is available it will be here!
