Madonna has set off to Malawi on Sunday with her two adopted kids as she promised some time ago to take them back to their original home country once they were fluent in their original language.

David Banda and Mary James have been undergoing  intensive schooling in their mother tongue of Chichewa to make sure they get the most out of the visit.

Madonna is over in Malawi to also open a new girls school today in Lilongwe under her charity called “Raising Malawi”. She’ll also be meeting some relatives of the children to discuss their upbringing according to The Sun

Katy Perry had her 25th Birthday Bash on Saturday at Hollywood’s Sunset Beach Club. Her new man non other than Russell Brand was also present as you would expect.

All sounds pretty normal stuff but what a bit off the beaten track, was the pair were spotted leaving this bash both in white outfits but covered in multi coloured splodges of wet paint.

Was the party actually a painting and decorating course?, were the decorators at the venue and joined in the party? or was there a team of carried away Face Painter at the do? Looks like Katy hired a team of Face Painters for the all white themed party and things started to drift from faces to all over body painting.

Russell is besotted with Katy and apparently wants her to spend Christmas with him and his family in Hampstead, London.

Katy last week apparently hired a plane to make a smoke trail over Russell Brands LA pad saying “I Love YOU up in the sky.  Things are looking very lovey dovey, are there wedding bells not too far away? Awwwwww!

Cheryl Cole and her new and debut single “Fight For This Love” has flown straight into the No1 spot of the UK Singles Chart and toppling her protege Alexandra Burke with “Bad Boys” into the No2 spot. Cheryl managed sales in her first week of 292,854 copies making her single the biggest selling single of the year by far!

The omens were all their last week with record copies shifted on Monday alone and with confirmation later in the week that she had toppled Alexandra Burke from No1 in the Irish Singles chart to No2.

Cheryl Cole’s album “3 Words” is out today and it will be interesting to see if the same thing happens again as Alexandra B is tops there also in the UK album charts. Review wise the “3 Words” album is getting a mixed reception with some saying she has sold out to the UK Market in favour of a more US sound which is a fair comment as US based Will.I.Am was a major input on this album.

Cheryl Cole’s success is not without incident as Frank Music star Vincent Frank has ranted on Twitter about one of Cheryl  Cole’s songs saying she has copied him with one track.

The track in question is a remix of Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies” called “Boy Like You” which features Tinchy Stryder and also feats Will.I.Am.

I AM SO FU**KING SHOCKED ABOUT MY TRACK BEING COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF BY CHERYL COLE”

Predictably Cheryl Cole fans have hit back on Twitter but Vincent Frank has now made a dramtic U-Turn on his claims saying Will.I.Am is the culpapble party and not Cheryl according to Metro.

Just wait now for the Will.I.Am backlash on Twitter. Doesn’t change a thing though Cheryl is still UK No 1……..Congrats!

The former Lancashire chip shop girl turned Supermodel, Agyness Deyn real name Laura Hollins has managed to land herself an acting role. The Brit Model star that has gone from blonde to brunette with a new look will be starring in a short film directed by Peter McGough.

Sienna Miller made her Broadway debut in New York on Thurdsay night at the American Airlines Theatre where Sienna features in the title role of Patrick Marber’s play “After Miss Julie”. This is her first theatrical role since appearing in “As You Like It” in the West End in 2005.

Sienna said in an interview before the opening night “No matter what happens, I’m never going to regret making this decision. To be here is a complete honour and a privilege “. Sienna Miller’s ex boyfriend Jude Law is starring in Hamlet just around the corner.

She divided the critics with The Associated Press saying she was “compelling” while the Chicago Tribune said she did a “gutsy” performance. On the not so good side Terry Teachout of The Wall Street Journal that made us laugh had this to say:

“A model turned second tier movie star, all she does is stalk around the stage striking vampy poses…she has no more business playing a classic stage role than I have posing for the cover of Vogue”

Well you can’t please them all, but we do have this to say, like it or not, celebrities appearing in theatre productions seems to be the way things are heading, check the box office numbers for confirmation, and acting ability or not, Sienna Miller has every reason to also pose on the front cover of  Vogue!

Cheryl Cole "Fight For This Love" New Look!

Cheryl Cole has topped the Irish singles charts with her debut single “Fight For This Love” and toppled Alexandra Burke with her single “Bad Boys” which is now at No2. Normally don’t feature the Irish charts here but this is yet another good indicator that Cheryl could be on track to go straight in at No1 in the UK Singles chart next week, with a record number of copies shifted on Monday backing this up.  Her album 3 words also comes out next week.
