THE US First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a “healthy kids fair” on the South Lawn of the White House yesterday.

Along with her now world renowned fashion prowess she showed her hoop and skipping skills. She managed to swing that hoop around her waist 142 times. Could this be a White House Lawn First Lady World Record?

Pamela Anderson is currently in the middle of a tug of war between two UK TV reality shows as she is looking to appear on one of them!

Boss’s of ITV Show “I’m A Celebrity” and Channel 4’s “Big Brother” are bidding to secure the ex baywatch star.

According to the Daily Star Pammie is keen to appear on both shows and is chewing things over. She quite likes the idea of going into the jungle though and getting her red swimsuit on again. Looks like the highest bidder will win in this one. Considerably more money than Panto if she gets this deal!

Interesting times ahead for Pamela Anderson, by all accounts she needs the cash although she strongly denies all the latest rumours. The show could do with someone like her, if you’ve seen her on Letterman she is an absolute scream. Panto, now Reality TV, whats next in the pipeline for Pamela Anderson?

Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick were spotted filming on set on location in New York on October 19th at the Empire Hotel in Manhattan. Beautiful girls, lavish locations and wardrobes to match with loads of posh back biting and one upmanship we think is what the show is all about. Beyond all that though it’s a good place for the studying of some extreme facial expressions,  this show is renowned for them, Leighton Meester is our favourite, she has a priceless trademark look she does the “look of disgust look” and the “really really upset” look, maybe Katie Holmes comes close in this department and her daughter Suri who is a budding star, but Leighton wins hands down for us. This Gossip Girl shoot was minus the trademark looks  more the looking very glamorous but straight faced sort of look. The trademark looks we will be keeping an eye out for though! It looks like the Diva explosion has started, Brtiney Spears seems to be getting things in motion with her new “3″, Rihanna is now back on the scene, Cheryl Cole potential new diva?, Whitney Houston comeback, Mariah Carey new album,  the list goes on. Latest addition to add to the chaos is Alicia Keys, another talented and quality artist and her latest offering is her new single “Doesn’t Mean Anything”.

Quality classy song this,  repetitive as it progresses but a good sound, superb vocals, smooth, controlled, superb pitch, lows, highs, passion, but it’s the intro and lyrics that capture your attention though, it’s all deep stuff, stuff to make you sit up and think deep thoughts….it’s got a strong message… all songs should have a message……. Like it!

Chart prediction a tough call, we think top 5 and there for weeks sometimes these are the best songs, No1 cannot be ruled out but there’s a lot of big names and media hyped ones at that entering the charts in the next few weeks and it does drag on this song near the end. Media seems to beat talent but not always, which could knock it out of the way, but it does deserve top billing based on talent alone….but thats just our professional opinion!

The new album called “The Element of Freedom” will be released on 1st December just in time for Christmas!

Other news: Alicia Keys and rapper Jay Z are set to perform at the 2009 American Music Awards on November 22nd at the Nokia Thatre, Los Angeles and they will be singing “Empire State of Mind”.

The star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame wasn’t awarded to any of the three featured stars and faces of L’Oreal, it was awarded to L’Oreal itself for  financially supporting the renovation and restoration of the legendary Hollywood attraction. Eva was in our opinion the star of the show in a two tone grey body hugging number matched with suede grey platform heels.

The Rihanna music machine looks to be on the move and she looks set to cause a few waves amongst the diva’s.

A topless Rihanna wrapped in barbed wire with a funky eye patch and yet another new hair do is the look for the new single cover of Rihanna’s latest creation called Russian Roulette.

The video was streamed worldwide yesterday and at that time the album title that the new single Russian Roulette is lifted from was not known.

But the title for the fourth album is now out, its called “Rated R” with the R we are assuming standing for Raunchy or is it Rihanna. The album as stated yesterday will be released on November 23rd.

Cheryl Cole who everybody should know by now has just started her solo career with a new album “3 words” out later this month and the new single release “Fight For This Love” which she recently performed on X Factor.

Tuesday October 13 2009. Cheryl Cole dresses down for a trip to the Radio One Studios in central London. The Girl’s Aloud singer and The X-Factor mentor was one her way to appear on the Chris Moyles show.

Alexandra Burke the current No1 shifted 90,000 copies of “Bad Boys” on Monday alone to claim the No1 spot this week, but Cheryl has notched up a massive 134,000 copoies and thats just this Monday.

The sun is predicting weekly sales of 250,000 by the end of the week. This would beat the Girls Aloud single “Sound of the Underground” which sold 213,000 copies.
