A poll was conducted recently by Esquire Magazine amongst British Men that asked the question “Which Female Celebrity would you most like to marry?”

Some interesting results appeared which conflict with the FHM World’s Most Sexiest Woman which for 2009 was Cheryl Cole but then sexiness and marriage don’t always go hand in hand?

Apparently Rachel Weisz is the most sought after female celebrity in marriage material terms and Rachel had this to say:

“Oh my God! To marry? That’s interesting. That’s so funny. I’m marriable. But I’m not married. I was getting worried that the men didn’t like me anymore.”

Rachel Weisz is currently engaged to Darren Aronofsky. In order to earn this amazing accolade she beat off Keira Knightley into second place and Kate Winslet into third.

There was also a category for who you would most like to go to bed with and Cheryl Cole was voted tops in this department…..no surprises there then.  Dawn French was voted tops for someone you would like to go down the pub with!
