Not content with causing a few puzzled looks on the red carpet, Lady GaGa also dominated the gongs at the 2010 Brit Awards winning 3 in total, in fact all the awards she was nominated for.

She claimed Best International Female Artist, Best International Album and Best International Breakthrough.
She beat off JLS into second who pulled off two gong wins.
The Best British Album gong went to Florence and the Machine for her album “Lungs” and Lily Allen got the Best Female Artist Award (see next post)
Her live performances included “Telephone” and a lesser known number called “Dance in the Dark”. Video of the two live here
When she accepted her first award she said:
“Thank you so much. I Love my fans in the UK. I can’t tell you how much this means to me. Thank you to my whole family. Thank you for believing in me – I’ll always believe in You. Thank you to Lee McQueen.
Her live performance was toned down from her usual more explosive routines?? in memory of Alexander McQueen the fashion designer who died last week and her backstage dressing room was made into a shrine to her close fashion designer pal.
Liam Gallagher was on form as always as he collected his Best Album Award for the last 30 years where after receiving the award he swore, threw away the mic and handed the gong to a fan! Peter Kay who was the host called him “a knobhead” and video is here!
