Rihanna has been hitting the headlines for her performance in Paris, France a couple of days ago and we have some photo highlights of her performing live in only the way that Rihanna knows how. Front row tickets were a must have for this live gig and the pulses must have been racing!

She recently hurt her ribs in a recent gig in Zurick as a result of her incredibly raunchy routines but according to the Evening Standard the singer went to a Swiss clinic last week to get herself sorted out and was given the all clear to continue but told to tone things down a bit for the time being.  

Speaking to the Standard in Paris she said: “I’ve had a few injuries, and one thing made another worse. Eventually I had to have it checked out. My ribs are still hurting, but I will be raring to go by London.”

She will be live in the UK for her first gig on May 7 in Birmingham and arrives in the capital to headline the O2 Arena on May 10.

Unusually our usual Danica Patrick hosters are being reconsidered as hosters for our site, but with a massive upgrade on the server front and the data centre based in the EU instead of the US! It’s always in the US, thats where we seem to be having all our hosting problems including the recent one with oversold servers we think being the cause, as we have one server based over here in the EU that is significantly better and faster than our other US counterpart servers with the same company and the support is a London based phone number which is where we are based…..handy indeed and the one time we have had to use it, the support was good!

 We have a couple of other options on the radar that host some of the big household name corporations and have the beefy to nuke proof installations to cover the small business (Us) to the global monsters, but reviews are strangely mixed with more horror stories about billing, downtime and grim support and stay away at all costs and other fun scenarios that we are looking to avoid!

Hosting is like getting married…………..pick your partner wisely or repent at leisure, that’s why we are taking our time! Hopefully fjgirls.com will be back on line and rocking by mid week next week.  fjgirls.com wants to fly and floor it, she’s got the formula 1 driver to do this, she just needs the right vehicle to leave everything else standing……………anything less will end in tears! fjgirls.com is therefore currently in “the pits”.

 What do the critics make of it?

21% or 1 star. Jennifer Lopez is as appealing as ever, but The Back-Up Plan smothers its star with unrelatable characters and a predictable plot. Rotten Tomatoes

2 and a half stars” The Back-Up Plan’s” blunt honesty about the messiness of pregnancy is refreshing. It’s a shame that the movie couldn’t find a similarly refreshing way to tell its uninspired love story. The Washington Post

3 and a half stars.  It’s no big surprise that Lopez can still get laughs; she has a relaxed way with the camera that has mellowed and ripened over the years. Chris Vognar, Dallas Morning News

FJgirls.com is currently back with our original hosters with a photo of Danica Patrick for company. The forum, biographies, photo and video galleries, community and FJ girls Celebrity Blogger are therefore not at present available….in effect we have suspended the site until further notice until we get a new decent hosting service that is able to host a busy website.

The blog.fjgirls.com which was the busiest part of the site has now been redirected to here at this backup site at femalecelebritynews.com. Updates will be limited on this site but grab the rss feed to keep up to date on what will be happening with fjgirls.com in the future.

After the recent hassles and total fiasco with regards to hosting at our website at FJ Girls and after a long think we have some good news and some bad news, and we think this photo below of Cheryl Cole with her finger pointing down just about sums up the current situation!

The good news is after 3 weeks with the apparent whizz kids handling the hosting of fjgirls.com we have about turned very rapidly. After being down for 48 hours with these market leaders we have moved back to our old hosters which is currently showing a parked page with Danica Patrick saying how wonderful this hosting company is.  To put it mildly we were not impressed with this new lot at all after getting lectured after 3 weeks and they have got the two fingers from us big time…….end of lecture!.

The bad news is as follows:

1. We are back with the old server/company which we have dubbed “slower than a slow thing in the slow lane on a slow day” so progress around the site will be cumbersome and finger tappingly slow at peak times but it is up and it is running or more realistically, it will be crawling! At present the site is parked and may stay that way due to visitor levels causing problems on the site. The blog.fjgirls.com is currently redirecting to femalecelebritynews.com which is the backup site to this blog.
2. This is a temporary state of affairs as we are looking for a new hoster that has the muscle to cope with decent levels of traffic/visitors and cope with spikes, the last one was not up to the job at all despite it’s amazing tag and credentials and their beefier packages were too pricey and we suspect the same thing would have happened again with these more powerful servers with the rules they use which we think don’t really work in the real world certainly not for celebrity sites anyway.
3. In view of the current situation we have suspended all posts and activity on this blog otherwise we will just have the same problem with this site being suspended by our old hosters here or worse still…. crashing. Basically a tortoise or snail is better than nothing at all so we are leaving the core site with no updates to play things safe as its the updates that are causing the problems. We’ll just let FJ Girls rot until we find a decent hosting solution, it will be the best thing in the long run. If the site goes into freefall in the short term….. so be it!
4. This temporary suspension of updates on fjgirls.com and all associated parts will be for an indefinite period until we can find a decent replacement hosting service so we are talking a week at least as we really don’t want to go through all this again.

Basic updates will be on FemaleCelebrityNews.com but again it will be a max of one post per day or less otherwise the same situation will happen again as we are just moving the problem somewhere else. As FemaleCelebrityNews.com is on a server with many other of our up and coming sites which will also be affected by a server crash, something we are now quite keen to avoid at all costs, after seeing the chaos and disruption it can cause.

If there is one lesson to be learnt in all of this “never burn your bridges”. Luckily as grim as it was before we changed hosts, we kept the old hosting account with the old website files prior to the move with a couple of months paid up front. Also it’s the hare and the tortoise ringing true here as a “slow thing” as slow as it is, is better than a faster “nothing at all”!

This is something we feel most websites that get popular experience and you basically have two options. Get a more expensive server many times more in price than you are paying at present which explains why the are plastered with ads, or think sod it and shut the site down. There’s no middle ground. A lot of people choose the second option and at present after the last few months we’ve been through here we are seriously thinking pretty much the same thing..

If we do decide to go on a hefty new heavyweight server then we are seriously considering dropping the forum, the main site that has the community, biographies, photos and videos and just have one super blog with the FJ celebrity blogger as an added bonus. We think this is highly probable the way things will go as that’s where most of the action is.

Will FJ girls be coming back? Is this the end as we know it? or maybe a new beginning?……..watch for further FJ Girls news……………….. as one things for certain……………… dull itcertainly will not be!
