Leighton Meester has been in the running for Female Celebrity of the Month at FJ Girls for the fourth month including this month. She was beaten by Alicia Keys for the start of the new decade in January, in February she was beaten by Taylor Swift and in March by Jennifer Aniston.

So why Leighton Meester. Obviously she’s not short in the looks department, she’s a bit of a character,  personally do like her style, she’s newsworthy, a rising starlet and finally she’s done the very difficult thing of bridging the actress-musician divide something that people very rarely achieve. Last but not least her birthday is on April 9th and she is a bit of a party animal so news coverage of that will be here also.

Who did she beat off? No one, she was our first and only choice considering she was up for Female Celebrity of the Month 3 times before.
