Jodie Connor is the feat on vocals on Roll Deep’s “Good Times” new video. Roll Deep are based in London and their speciality according to their My Space is Grime/Experiemental/Hip Hop. Jodie Connor is from Manchester her influences are SWV, Janet Jackson, Randy Crawford, Luther Vandross, Musiq Soulchild, Joe, Donnell Jones, Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder. Check out her My Space for some more info and some pretty decent tunes. THere’s talent here and she has a soft and beautiful voice. The video as can be seen is shot in London. Verdict…………sort of 90’s sounding but pretty good. Question is what are they like live? Songs out on 25/26 April.
