Coachella 2010 was held over the weekend at Indio in the California Desert and the crowds certainly did turn out for this one. with virtually guaranteed sunshine there’s not a whole lot that can put the dampers on this event. A certain Icelandic volcano playing havoc with flights did cause a few non arrival of artists but did this even remotely stop the party……….no way!

Some photo highlights of the event from a female artist perspective, the main headlines we would have thought have been read by now by our visitors via NME, MTV or wherever else you go. Apparently despite Icelandic volcanoes playing up the number of visitors compared to last year was up by 15,000 to 75,000. Some photos below of performers live at the event. Some well known and some more in the up and rising style. Beth Ditto it has to be said stands out and was looking particularly shocking.
