An experimental post and digging low and deep for something in a decent trance style club number as it’s that time of year just starting, we came up with a half decent slightly different tune by Shogun and a sort of new release called “Nadia” with a feat of Hannah Ray. Very limited info on this set up as is always the case but DJ Shogun has some serious credentials such as the former resident dj of Ministry of Sound Nightclub, he has played alongside top DJ’s in the world such as Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, and BT just to name a few. This latest offering with Hannah Ray hits the Trance zone spot on. Hannah Ray is a British vocalist that’s been singing professionally for ten years, her most recent success was a collaboration with Tritonal on ‘Jump Off’. No picture though but Shogun appears in the video at the beginning in a baseball hat and Hannah Ray we think throughout! Not incredibly new this song as it was released on 25 January 2010, but such is the case with this music, you may here it in switched on clubs but chart wise probably not, so still quite a few people haven’t heard it yet and technically it’s still oven warm outside hardcore trancer circles. Our rating backing and vocals 3 and half stars it’s up there although studio enhancement is evident as always with this style of music. Lyrics as can be expected on this style of music which strays into the dreamy territory is limited our rating 3 stars. Averaging out at 3 stars++++++++ but a decent number none the less. It’s just grabbing hold of the decent stuff….that’s the tricky bit as there’s not much of it around………you have to dig deep underground! Expecting a grand total of ten hits in total on this post as it’s that specialised, it will be interesting to be proved wrong!
