Kelis the US R & B singer has a new single out today called Acapella and from what we have seen of the music vid below she has gone a just a little bit GaGa on us. Kelis who is probably best known for her single “Milkshake” which came off her 2003 released album called “Tasty” which sold 2 million copies. She is A Brit Award winner so there is some calibre here.

Our verdict on the song, the musical backing is superb, song is original, top marks for the clobber,  but vocals are average and a bit bland and that’s where the bulk of the marks are weighted. Rating 2 and half stars ++++++++
