What do you do if you are summoned to a court hearing due on Thursday in LA, you live in LA and your life is hanging on a
thread if you don’t turn up to this event in LA? Most people we think would turn up, it’s a couple of hours of your life and it looks like you are making some sort effort.

BUT if you’re Lindsay Lohan you it looks like things are different, instead you head off to Cannes for a couple of days before your court appearance date, party like a crazed party animal, strut your stuff on the red carpet, get global media coverage to rub salt into the court system wounds and basically give the two fingers to the legal system.

So what has happened as a result. According to P Samson at the Sun, due to the non court appearance which Lilo according to her has stated is due to her losing her passport, it looks like she could be in some legal hot water. Unfortunately the French authorities have no record of her passport being reported lost or stolen, she is still on probation and a bench warrant has been issued by Judge Marsha Revel which basically is a warrant for “on site arrest”.

Thats the legal side of the situation. Here’s the Lilo side of the story. The courts have ordered her to not drink alcohol and she was ordered to wear an ankle bracelet that monitors her alcohol intake. She also has to undergo drug testing once a week. For a 23 year old party animal at a career low this has got to be the biggest ball and chain that you could ask for. It looks like Lilo could be up that famous smelly creek in a leaking canoe without a paddle.

BUT lo or Lilo and behold, that was the situation until a few hours ago. The latest news just on the wires is she wont be facing arrest when she returns to the US. Lucky or what. Latest news just out below:
