One of the highlight matches of the French Open 2010 event, arguably THE match, Maria Sharapova and Justine Henine battled it out for the right to go through to the next round but due to the late start of the match, insufficient light was the reason cited for halting play. The final score was Henin-Sharapova 6-2 3-6 with Sharapova starting to dominate the proceedings in the second set. Just a bit of a nail biter with both players playing for their lives on Saturday. Play is set to continue today Sunday. If Sharapova can pull this off and beat the event favourite that is capable of beating the Williams sisters, we can say pretty much “She’s back!” Photo below of a very concerned looking and feather ruffled Justine Henin who the bookies are still favouring over Sharapova, although after yesterdays proceedings her odds have been reduced considerably.!
