The ITV National Movie Awards were held last night in London, this is one of those events that has winners decided by vote going out to the public. A minuscule 8 categories for this event and comes at a time in the awards season, as in the end, when people (including this site) have probably had enough of movie awards. This one does seem to be in the slightly pointless category but its a good chance for some celeb spotting on the red carpet regardless. Emma Watson grabs the headline as Harry Potter dominated the awards and she came over especially from her current studies in the states.

Basically if you are a Harry Potter or Twilight fan you pretty much had the night sown up. Some big names were at the event including Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Emma Watson and Harry Potter co stars, Gwyneth Paltrow and a host of other UK celebs.

On a more sombre note, for those who are die hard fans of this film and not one for pouring a bucket of cold water over promo events, you may not want to read this article below. Morbid curiosity will get the better of you though………………………….but don’t say we didn’t warn you! It certainly answers that hype or brilliance question very clearly! The top secret album we keep hearing about is still pretty top secret, but something is in the wind.
