Who will be the big names appearing at Glastonbury in 2010 to celebrate it’s 40th Year. With Day 1 getting underway today which is a sort of warm up day with lesser known acts the main action and big names start appearing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. What a difference a day makes. England beat Slovenia 1-0 with a blinding goal by Jermain Defoe and what a different team. What’s sparked this difference to make a team that would be proud to carry the England vest. Is it the change of the team, possibly, is it the change to the red strip that England have never lost in?… Possibly or was it the match that had to be won to avoid the disgrace of being sent home not getting through the qualifiers, very likely BUT was it because some of the players wives and girlfriends are either on standby or have started heading over to meet their other halves and watch them play in this match. Definetly.

Carly Cole was spotted at Heathrow airport yesterday heading out to support her husband and bringing out their 3 month old daughter Ruby Tatiana.Thats the thing that gives the players their MOJO and it makes all the difference. Kim Clijsters is through to the next round (3rd) after making it look easy by beating Croatia’s Karolina Sprem and she is joined by another name with the capability to win this event Justine Henin the other Belgium star who took 1 hour and 22 minutes to subdue her opponent who was Kristina Barrois.

Henin beat Barois 6-3 7-5 and Clijsters won 6-3, 6-2 and her match was finished in one hour 13 minutes. Clijsters is currently ranked World No8 and took the tennis world by storm last year by winning the US Open in 2009. This is her first Wimbeldon for four years. Kim Clijsters said “The score was a lot easier than it was to play,” she said. “I had to work extremely hard but I was consistent and that was the most important thing today.
