Whats Rachel Bilson Up To?

A female star that seems to have slipped off the major news radar lately, what’s this stunning angelic looking traffic stopping beauty up too? She must be up to something as she has recently been seen leaving a studio in LA in the last couple of weeks!

She’s been in a couple of films since her TV role in the O.C finished in 2007. Films included the sci fi “Jumper” and the rom com “New York I love You”. So whats happening lately? Apparently according to Entertainment Weekly she has landed her old job back reprising her role as Cindy in the TV series “How I Met Your Mother” which is now in its sixth series.

Rachel Bilson is also set to appear on the cover of Instyle UK September Issue. Get a taster of the cover at the fantastically named website called amygrindhouse she’s looking hot in that angelic sort of way.

Lissie and “Cuckoo” Official Video and Verdict!

Lissie Maurus is an America Folk/Rock artists known as “Lissie” and she has a new single out called “Cuckoo”. Her debut album called “Catching a Tiger” was released on 21st June. Does this song cut it, or is it average, or is it one of those musical disasters?

The Verdict:

She’s a bit young to be a music star was the first response to the vid only to realise that wasn’t her. Video is OK for a folky sort of song but nothing to get excited about. The song again is OK, lyrics are there but again OK, we love guitar here and again on this song it’s OK in the guitar scheme of things.

Lissie vocals are again OK……………we could go on………….end result it’s an OK song and we are leaning to just below a 3 star score. Needs more passion and zest and electricity considering it looks to be a song about rebellion, as it’s not really doing anything for us here……….a song that is easily forgotten………….sure that was not the intention. Rating 2 and half stars +.

Chart wise it should do……you guessed it…….OK! No1 we think not, but you never know these days!

Diana Vickers has many qualities, but shy is not one of them. She was spotted in Camden Town, London after her doing a double in the form of performing live at the iTunes festival and also trying to have some sort of 19th birthday bash walking around with a home made placard saying “Happy Birthday Diana”. Her actual birthday is on Friday 30th July, these were obviously pre bash warm ups?

Jul 28 2010. Diana Vickers celebrates her Birthday with an early night after performing at The Roundhouse in Camden as part of the iTunes weekly festival.Diana came out with a massive birthday card and a smaller one that looks like it is from Olly Muirs from the X-Factor with phone number included.

Latest DV rumours include she would consider going nude for the right film and actor and director according to Metro. Could be interesting..form an orderly queue. Is Jessica Simpson set to fill Simon Cowell’s shoes at American Idol!

Jessica Simpson is hitting the headlines as she is rumoured to be in the running for becoming a judge on American Idol according to MTV

With Simon Cowell no longer at the show in a judging capacity after a split after Season 9 of The American Idol show, Jessica Simpson is rumoured to be taking over the Cowell slot.

According to Entertainment Weekly an unnamed source close to the star said Simpson has had several meetings with “Idol” brass about possibly joining the show for the upcoming tenth season, which kicks off in January 2011. A representative for Simpson told MTV News she had no comment on the report.

However there is a long star name list for this position as can be imagined, all being kept strictly under wraps…..could Nicole Snooki be one of the stars being considered?

So it could be interesting times ahead for Jessica Simpson OR then again maybe not!

Cheryl Cole spotting out and about near Guildford, Surrey!

It looks like Cheryl Cole (Tweedy) is finally on the mend after nearly a month off with the killer disease malaria and it looks like she is up and about as she was spotted near Guildford in Surrey heading into Starbucks in jeans , flip flops and a white top to get herself a chilled Frappucino.. This is billed as the first time she has been seen outside of her £6M mansion since she picked up the disease.

She was rumoured to be appearing back in the judges chair at X Factor this Friday but according to The Sun her spokesperson said:

She will not be going to work for the next few weeks but everyone is pleased she’s up and about”

Onlookers who saw her said she looks a bit pale and drawn and a bit skinny but in good spirits. This disease does knock you down big time but she now looks to be on the mend!

More news of the older variety it looks like Derek Hough (the dancer on Parachute) is rumoured to be moving in with Cheryl in her mansion on a temporary basis as he is looking to get a place in London as he may have some work there. Difficult to fathom what is going on with these two, friends, soul mates or more but he’s seen her through two sets of difficult times including the previous divorce saga so he must be practically family in a very short period of time in the Cheryl scheme of things.

Elisabetta Canalis in Court Appearance Drug Media Storm!

Elisabetta Canalis who is the now quite long running girlfriend of George Clooney looks to be in a bit of media hot water with a court appearance pending which is causing a media storm across all news media.

Its quite an interesting one this as the key to the whole media rumpus is the timing and not the subject matter. Basically Elisabetta Canalis is under investigation. Here’s the first part of the story according to The Sun:

“GEORGE CLOONEY’S girlfriend has been accused of snorting cocaine in an Italian nightclub.

French model Karima Menad told a Milan court in 2008 she took the narcotic with ELISABETTA CANALIS at the fashion capital’s The Club venue.”

Now this obviously doesn’t make good reading no matter who it is but especially if you are George Clooney’s girlfriend of a year it’s even worse. George Clooney is strongly rumoured to be working up to a proposal to Elisabetta and these headlines are increasing lately.

What we don’t understand is why has this incident that goes back to 2008 suddenly surfaced NOW when things are looking on the possible marriage home straight for this couple. There’s some money being made somewhere at the expense of somebody’s reputation here. Doubt very much that this will affect the Clooney-Canalis relationship, maybe it’s a secret she has shared with Clooney on the quiet and not with the world at large. It could even be said would this case even have come to light IF she hadn’t got involved with George Clooney.

With the increasing possibility of one of the biggest weddings of the year taking place expect to see more of this searching for skeletons in cupboards in the near future.

With August being traditionally a quiet month and celebrity news being thin on the ground at this time of year, August will be a chance for either a rising star to be female celebrity of the month or for a celeb that narrowly missed out in past months. we’ve narrowed it down to two names which are currently being considered.

1. Nicole Snooki. One of the leading stars off the hit reality tv series Jersey Shore. Only 4ft 9 but what she lacks in height she makes up for in a lot of other areas. Is she the next big thing or just a load of media hype. Whatever your views are, one things for sure, she’s increasingly in the news and is a media hot potato at the mo.

Always in the news and up in their in the sexiest female polls, narrowly missed out on being female celebrity of the month a while back. There are some marriage rumours floating around at present?
