Dannii Minogue had her baby on Monday in a Melbourne Hospital in Australia on Monday and it was a baby boy. Her other half Kris Smith was there at the event. The baby is called Ethan Edward Smith.

A spokesman said “mother and baby are doing well and Dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents” Dannii originally wanted a home birth but due to some minor complications she was rushed to the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Dannii who is one of the X Factor judges is due to be back judging on the show in a few months time amidst the current Cheryl malaria drama’s.

She tweeted just before going into labour “Can’t wait to see Simon, Cheryl and Louis again soon – miss them very much”. Kylie who is currently on the promo run for her new album Aphrodite is apparently rumoured to be flying down to Melbourne to see the new member of the family and see little sis according to Metro.
