In what amounts to a pretty much a male dominated cast in this film,  this remake of the legendary “A Team” TV series with an all new A team line up had it’s premiere last night in London . Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake’s girlfriend was credited with bringing the glamour to the male-dominated premiere in her Giambattista Valli gown and her strappy shoe numbers.

The headline though was……. her black knickers showing through her red dress when the camera flash’s went off on the red carpet, but when you are Jessica Biel you can get away with this using the line “it was done on purpose” to “create a bit of a stir for the media”…………..REALLY……that’s alright then!

This film is getting average mediocre or below critical reviews but some of the critics don’t even rate the original TV series so where does that leave them? Here’s a couple of nose in the air style views:

Richard Corliss of TIME magazine calls the film “the best in a mediocre lineup of summer action flicks”. He goes on to say the film lacks “a coherent plot and complex characterization”, though he does note that these qualities “are irrelevant to the genre”.

Film critic Roger Ebert was especially critical, rating the film just one and a half out of a possible four stars, and said “The A-Team” is an incomprehensible mess, and criticizes the film for being as shallow as the television series, which he describes as “punishment” when drawn out to a two hour long film.
