Megan Fox was our female celebrity of the month for the incredibly quiet month of August, a flat calm in sea terms but things will be starting to get a bit choppy early/mid September news wise and things will be getting progressively busier as we hit the turbulent awards season, spiky is the word we would use, could be 12 or 15 posts one day or more, 2 posts the next. Holiday season is coming to a close….time to get some flames coming out of the back of our server again and see if we can crash this new upgraded one……….it will be fun trying!

Post count should spike in the next month or so as we are aiming for at least double figures as we’ve been busy behind the scenes looking and investing in the technology to do this during this quiet month which is why we have decoupled the feed from our Twitter page otherwise the timeline on there will look “mental”. FJ Girls at Twitter will just show the highlights from this blog and will have it’s own headlines from now on. Can’t see the point of duplicating all the material over there at all!

So who will be female celebrity of the month for September?. Here’s who is in the running this month in what we are predicting as the news focus for that month. Kim Clijsters and Maria Sharapova (above) and the 2010 US Open are on for this month, with no Serena Williams in the fray these two have a good chance of claiming the crown. There are other names including some good newcomers who could upset the apple cart though.
