Only two prospectives for the very quiet month of August and that was the increasingly news worthy Nicole Snooki of Jersey Shore fame and none other than Megan Fox who doesn’t need any introduction.

In what looks on the surface to be a no brainer, in reality it was quite a close run thing but Megan Fox won the day in what amounts to be a pretty flat month for celebrity news in August and she will add some much needed  spice to the proceedings.

So why Megan Fox instead of Nicole Snooki?

1. We think Nicole Snooki needs to get  a bit more “fame” mileage on the clock and reach broader horizons beyond her “Jersey Shore” and current promo limits before being main page material on this site but this looks to be happening in the future as we speak.

2. Megan Fox has regularly appeared in the top 5 sexiest women in the world polls, a pretty good reason to be female celebrity of the month.

3. Megan Fox has been around longer and is more consistent on the news front which is a major factor for being picked as female celebrity of the month.

4. Megan Fox has endorsed more products, starred in more films and has a bigger fan base than Nicole Snooki who probably has just as many haters as well as fans.

Nicole Snooki considering she’s been around for a very short period of time is one to keep an eye on in the future and Female Celebrity of the Month before the year is out still could be a distinct possibility.!
