Nicole Snooki and her new BFF on set in New Jersey!

Nicole Snooki of the Reality TV Show “Jersey Shore” is gathering steam in the eyes of the media and she was spotted on set if you can call it that with her new BFF Deena Nicole Cortese in a place called New Jersey at Seaside Heights sampling the delights of an amusement park. “Deena Nicole Cortese, a 23-year-old New Jersey native, joined the cast of the controversial MTV show. Her addition to the show’s gang of hard-partying 20-somethings was officially announced at a meeting of the Television Critics Association”

Apparently she is an “upgrade” for Angelina Pivarnick who didn’t fit in with the crowd in the show and this Deena character is a “bit more of a laugh”. She’s another controversial character! Preeya Kalidas and “The Expendables” Premiere, London.

As far as we can gather there is only one female star in this film and that is Charisma Carpenter but this Sylvester Stalone number that is billed as an ensemble action/war film persuaded the female stars to put in a red carpet appearance. Getting some good reviews with IMDB putting it at 4 and half stars out of 5.

Sly was there along with the other stars and Preeya Kalidas (above) stole the show for us on the red carpet. Katie Price also managed to get her foot firmly wedged in the door to put in an appearance in an all black number and as you can imagine she just soaked up those photo flashes like nothing else and her song “Free To Love Again” and it’s performance in the charts by the beaming smile on her face has been firmly placed in the bargain basement bin of her life. Don’t worry though, she’s not one for giving up easily, rumour has it she may be doing a Take 2 with her music career……..God Help Us……….can’t wait to review the next offering!!!!!

Gossip Girl featured strongly in the TV Awards section with the actual show coming away with The Choice TV Show: Drama Award and The Choice TV Actor: Drama, Award went to Chace Crawford from the same show.   Leighton Meester came away as the winner of the Choice TV Actress: Drama for Gossip Girl Award. It’s something that came to mind whilst watching the superb “Eminem and Rihanna” video where Megan Fox features in some pretty passionate scenes and her lip locking prowess is on full display.
