Daisy Lowe and the “Made in Dagenham Premiere. London!

Daisy Lowe was at the premiere of ‘Made in Dagenham’ which was held last night in London’s Leicester Square. Daisy more normally known for her modelling credentials does star in this film with a small role and the film is set in the Essex/East End of London and she stars alongside other names such as Miranda Richardson, Bob Hoskins, Sandy Shaw and Jaime Winstone. The film is a docu drama about women car workers in the Dagenham Ford Car plant who go on strike over sexual discrimination at the plant in 1968 which eventually led to the equal pay act. The classic car a typical production from that factory at the time was the star of the show.

The film is directed by Nigel Cole. Starring Sally Hawkins, Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson. UK release date is 1 October according to IMDB who is currently giving the film 7.7 out of 10. Looks to be decent! Personally even if it was the biggest load of ~@%$ going, would still go to see it just for the Daisy Lowe factor!
