Paris Hilton gets off lightly after drug charges court case!

Paris Hilton to coin an old wives saying is ‘either blessed or has the luck of the devil’. This is not the first time she has had a scrape with the law and come out relatively unscathed. She attended a Las Vegas court yesterday which was presided over by Judge Joseph Bonventure for the alleged drug possession allegations and she pleaded guilty to possession and was fined £1300 and ordered to undertake 200 hours of community service. A drop in the ocean for this lady in financial terms and she can make time for her community service. She was arrested on 26 August inside the Wynn casino resort when a small bag of coke allegedly fell out of her bag when she really wanted her lip balm. Seem to remember reading somewhere she claimed she thought it was “gum” or something similar. Further details from Getty at the foot of the photo.

Hilton pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors, drug possession and obstructing an officer, as part of a plea deal worked out with prosecutors following her August 27 arrest for cocaine possession on the Las Vegas Strip. As part of the agreement, Hilton will serve a year of probation, pay a USD 2,000 fine, serve 200 hours of community service and must complete a drug abuse program in order to avoid jail time and a felony conviction. Now you may think she has got away with this, but that is not the case, she is on a years probation and if she strays again prison could be the likely outcome. She’s been there before that was before this site ever existed, you’ve seen the photos at that time and we think this photo above sums up a look of a “rude awakening”  itlooks to have sunk in that YES she is  a major celebrity and she can hire the best lawyer in the land but that still doesn’t make you above the law!!
