 She looked to be happy with the result which is estimated to have cost $300,000 to produce and 6 months to make. By all accounts this waxwork is 2% fatter than the real deal to allow for shrinkage in the Las Vegas desert climate?

Julia Roberts was at the Gala Premiere for her latest film Eat Pray Love last night at Leicester Square in London. Gala’s tend to be smaller on the guest list and are normally for smaller productions films with lesser known stars……..not always but most of the time. The film by now needs no introduction and is getting a muted response from the critics. We think this may not be a box office smash either. BUT here’s the thing, the film contains a strong message for those who may be looking for something more in their life, if that is you, then this film will be your thing!

We reckon this will do better on DVD than at the box office as it’s something you may want to watch in the privacy of your own home, possibly many times? Back to the premiere and Julia had her usual red carpet number this time in a pearly white with massive flares. The fashionistas have been on her case recently saying she is looking a bit ‘frump city’. What they will make of this number we have no idea.

She has recently converted to Hinduism during filming and as a result of this film, maybe her fashion tastes are reflecting this religious rebirth?

Cheryl Cole has released her new video “Promise This” which is from her new album out soon called “Messy Little Raindrops”. She’s had a hell of a rocky year, lets see whether she’s still got the X Factor.

The Video: A classy no expenses spared number, glossy, slick, colourful and most importantly Cheryl is highlighted in style with some decent choreography. Some money and serious production talent has been thrown at this number and it shows. Rated: Good!

The Song: Cheryl Cole has gone through Divorces and Malaria, she’s had a sod of  a year, one to remember but probably one she wants to forget and the emotional vote before we’ve even started suggests give this a straight 4 stars. We do like Cheryl here, but unfortunately we have no favourites on this site even if she is now on this blog as “Top of FJ Girls” that’s purely based on clinical post volume. This song goes through the griller like everybody else!

Onto the intro, not keen on that at all and this intro forms the basis of the chorus…………..not good news and not a good start The main areas of the song are very good, interesting lower end, plenty of pace and energy, some layering and her vocals and lyrics are in the OK category. It’s a poppy but tasty sound. Not too much repetition. We won’t go down the auto tune route on this as they all use it now. So this is a song of two halves the main body or verse is technically very good but that chorus line kills the song and we mean really kills it. We think she could have done something different here as this really ruins the overall effect otherwise this could have been a realy good tune. Video and technicals (verse) prop this song up and the Cheryl look can’t be denied, but when all is said and done…………….. we can’t go any higher than a Rating of 3 stars ++

Ending on a more positive note. Chart prediction………….it’s a no brainer isn’t it……………………… No1 if not Top 10, she’s got a massive following, it’s the first release off her new album which we also predict to go the same way!

Brandy needs no introduction, because of what she does by trade she is used to the live spotlight. Because her work involves choreography this has got to help her no end on that pressurised floor although these dance routines are probably a bit different to what she is used to, so she has to unlearn what she has learned and become a classical dancer………………sometimes that’s harder.
