Avril Lavigne had her birthday over the weekend and thought it would be a good idea to go to “Vegas Baby” and throw a bash and show everybody else how it is done at Wet Republic.  Bit of a wild character this one and she is now 26 (actual birthday 27 September) but this Canadian singer songwriter, actress and fashion designer made up for lost time by holding her “do” at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino and she was presented with an enormous birthday cake to tuck into. Good rumour news for Avril, Rihanna is rumoured to be including an Avril Lavigne song in sample form on her new album loud. Lavigne’s 2001 hit ‘I’m With You’ is said to feature on a song called ‘Cheers’, which was rumoured to be considered for the record’s lead single. More details at Digital Spy
