Angelina Jolie was at the Megamind premiere in Paris last night. Megamind is a 2010 animated superhero comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and Red Hour Productions. The film was released in the United States in Digital 3D, IMAX 3D and 2D on November 5, 2010. It features the voices of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, David Cross and Brad Pitt. The film is directed by Tom McGrath. Jolie doesn’t feature in this film but her other half does so it just gives an excuse to have a few pics of her here. Brads beard is back?

Nicki Minaj is happening at the moment news wise and she was on the Jimmy Kimmel show performing her new number called “Right Thru Me” live and yours truly just couldn’t resist having a few words on this one. We’ve come to the conclusion with Ms Minaj, the weirder the hairdo/wig, the worse the song and it seems to be pretty spot on in this case as this is one seriously strange hairdo. Not sure whether she is very quiet here or there is a problem with the  vid or the microphone but it doesn’t really matter anyway because the song is pretty grim so it’s probably a good thing. One of the backing singers has that “I wish I wasn’t here look on her face” whilst doing her doo wop hand movements, but at least her hairdo is half decent and she sounds like she can sing? We hope this is live as if it isn’t then the recording studio has some serious question marks. All in all this is not one of her better numbers is it, but hey…….what do we know? Will we be rushing out to buy this? Probably not……………..Vid Below!

The IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards were held last night at Cipriani’s in New York and this is now in its 20th year and awards top independent film making although some Hollywood stars do manage to creep into this event as Natalie Portman below demonstrates.

Leighton Meester is hitting the headlines for her suit and sloppy tie look last night at the Gotham Independent Film Awards and was the red carpet head turner on the night along with Portman. Obviously she is not aware that this suit is NOT machine washable judging by the severe shrinkage on display in the trouser department? She looks bissfully unaware and happy and thats what matters!

It must be pretty chilly in New York but things soon thawed out when kim Kardashian was spotted out and about in an ultra figure hugging incredibly tight number that leaves very little to the imagination. Whats our rating on this offering. 3 and half stars, half decent video and half decent song but not on a touch on Rihanna’s Only Girl BUT with the edge on Cheryl Cole’s latest offering which came out at 3 stars and a couple of plus signs because …..well she is the nations sweetheart!

Katie Waissel is out of X Factor with a lot of people saying it’s not before time. wagner also got the chop to make it a double chop this weekend and the vibe seems to be Wagner should have not been given the boot. The favourites are still in including singer supremo Mary Byne and where our money is Cher Lloyd. According to MSN Louis Walsh has been having a dig again with Cheryl Cole and Cher Lloyd coming into the firing line he said in connection with Cher Lloyd’s version of Avril Lavigne’s Girlfriend drew this observation  “You’re becoming like your mentor; a right little diva in the making.” Was that more of a dig at judge Cheryl Cole or her protégé? or was it maybe even a compliment,.It was hard to tell?

Kate Moss was spotted at Boots today in London not shopping but she was signing for her new fragrance called Vintage Muse. Will this be as popular as Kate’s clothing range at Top Shop. This was launched in July 2010 and sells currently at just over ten pounds in Boots. More information at the fragrantica website
