Emily Browning and the "Sucker Punch" Premiere. London!

Emily Browning and Vanessa Hudgens were in town last night for the Premiere of Sucker Punch  and all lthe names were there including Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung and Jena Malone who star in this fantasy adventure film. Grab the film details and trailer from our recent film premiere post where Hudgens was at the LA event .

Not one for chucking a rather large bucket of cold water over the proceedings (wouldn’t dream of it), the critics are not going a bundle on this and this is what a couple have had to say:

Richard Roeper gave the film a D, saying that “it “proves a movie can be loud, action-packed and filled with beautiful young women—and still bore you to tears.”

Roger Moore of the Orlando Sentinel gave the movie one out of four stars saying that the film is “an unerotic unthrilling erotic thriller in the video game mold, Sucker Punch is Last Airbender with bustiers.”

35 out of 100 is the score on Meteacritic? That’s not great!

AnnaSophia Robb was at the Premiere last night of theTriStar Pictures’ “Soul Surfer” which was held  at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, LA. AnnaSophia Rob plays the main role in this American Drama and it also stars Helen Hunt, Carrie Underwood and Dennis Quaid who were there at the event.  Carrie Underwood and Hilary Duff also gave their presence to ad some cred. Film direction is by Sean McNamara.

Soul Surfer is a 2011 American drama film about the life of surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her left arm in a shark attack when she was 13 years old. The film is directed by Sean McNamara, who based the screenplay on Hamilton’s biographical book of the same name and on filmmakers’ interviews with the family. A sneak peak of a new music video from Katy Perry for her new single called E.T which has a feat of Kanye West. Where he is on this vid we are not sure?. The song is called E.T and it was showcased on you’ve guessed it at ET.  Katy Perry all done out in an Avataresque look, dazzling special effects and from what we have heard of the song, this looks to be half decent as well. Running time 55 secs and not your annoying 10 second stunt. . Apparently the full official video should be doing a premiere today which means it should be here later. Perry has recently started her 104 stop tour with recent dates taking in Europe including 28 March in Dublin. The tune is currently racing up the Billboard 100 charts.

Snoop Dogg ,a name that needs no introduction and has been around for some time, looks to be back in the fray and as a hip and cool Letterman  says “The New Snoop Dogg Album called Doggumentary has dropped today” . The man himself.  was live on the show last night performing one of his new singles off this new album. It’s called simply “Boom” and it’s all good stuff! A motionless Snoop Dogg surrounded by feverish  booty shaking women, you know you’ve cracked it when this is going on .  Verdict on the song…………..it’s alright but he has done better in the past. YO!

Somebody who has been a bit quiet news wise lately and that is Lily Allen. This looks set to change.

After her carefully planned exit from the music industry as she was fed up with the fame thing it looks like she will be hitting the wires again but in a fashion sort of way.

She’s been quietly working on her new clothing range called ‘Lucy in Disguise’ and also has a vintage store in London which she runs with her sister Sarah Owen.

The clothing range looks to be launched in June and will be making an appearance at the Harvey Nichols department store in Knightsbridge, London and globally. Now thats an incredibly good place to start a new fashion line!

She’s currently working with designer Nadia Jones and her sister.

Other celebrities that have ventured into fashion to create their own label recently have included Victoria Beckham with her VB label, Gwen Stefani with L.A.M.B and Sienna Miller with Twenty8Twelve. She’ll join these names if she cracks it. We think she will!

If you are wondering where her Lucy in Disguise store is it’s in Covent Garden at 10-13 King St, WC2, London near the Covent Garden Piazza, it’s been open since September last year.
