An interesting line up of celebrity guests at this Royal Wedding, It’s at these sort of occasions you find out who’s got some Royal connections or are highly favoured for whatever reason in Royal circles. It’s not what you know but who you know, as they say! Leading politicians and the Mayor of London you would expect to be here, some other names you would not. Here’s some of the names that were at the event. Elton John and David Furnish, David and Victoria Beckham, David Cameron and Samantha Cameron, Nick Clegg and  Miriam Gonzalez Durantez,  Guy Ritchie, Tara Palmer Tomkinson, Zara Phillips, Boris Johnson London Mayor, Mohammed Al Fayed of Harrods fame,  amongst others, Grab the  celebrity photos and also including  more Royal Wedding photos including Royal Guests heading to Westminster Abbey. On the look front we thought Victoria Beckham and Tara Palmer Tomkinson seemed to hog the limelight on the day ……….that’s until Catherine Middleton and Prince William arrived!

Prince William and Catherine Middleton brought the country and the world to a stand still and married in a ceremony that was broadcast and watched by hundreds of millions around the globe. They are now  husband and wife with the official title of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Crowds lined the processional wedding route some camping out for several days ahead in order to catch a glimpse of the Prince and his bride and they were not let down. A full turnout for this event with royalty and dignitaries from all 4 corners of this planet attended in what is surely THE event of the year.

The complete Royal Family, Members of British Parliament past and present, noted celebrities, The Middleton Family and royalty from other countries descended on Westminster Abbey which was the focal point of the Royal Wedding where traditionally other royal weddings have taken place in the past.

Noted presenters from the BBC were also at the event providing superb coverage including Chris Hollins from BBC Sport, Sophie Raworth the famous news reader and Fearne Cotton from Radio 1 adding their take on the event live as it happened and mingling with the crowds..

Prince William arrived 40 minutes before Catherine Middleton who stayed overnight at the Goring Hotel in Central London and made her way via her regal vehicle to arrive just around 11am to cheering crowds and a guest list that would put any of the worlds major celebrity events to shame.

With Prince William in full military style uniform and Catherine Middleton in a stunning cream dress with full train and veil it was something out of a fairy tale and everybody is in agreement Catherine Middleton looked a picture, she couldn’t have done any better. The pressure on the royal couple must have been immense to get those nuptial words of marriage right in the public eye but this massive event went without a hitch and the rehearsals the previous day must have played a part in that.

Whats happening at Fame Fad this Royal Wedding Weekend!

As you’ve probably gathered the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton takes place on Friday 29th April and it’s a bank holiday Friday in the UK. Monday May 2nd  is also a Bank Holiday in the UK. So what will be happening at Fame Fad?

Same as last weekend really if it’s happening, it will be buzzing, if it isn’t then it won’t. At the moment it’s very quiet celeb news wise, there’s loads of headlines out there but of the minor (who cares) category that to be perfectly honest I just can’t be bothered even wasting my time writing about. Check out our other site called Celebgoss.com if you are after those candy floss style headlines that features on the main gossip style blogs with a smattering of papers also featuring, the best stories of which appear on this site. Currently a bare bones site, things may be happening on their in the next couple of months.

More important stuff that is on the horizon is Lady GaGa and Judas The Official Video and Beyonce and Girls (Who Run The World) also should be dropping around the same time. Could be this weekend with 2nd May being the strongest possibility but you just never know in this game.If they come out they will be here with review! Water for Elephants starring R Pat and Reese Witherspoon  is one of the big premiere’s on the horizon it’s heading this way, if it happens it will be here. If there are others and they have some sort of decent star line up they will also be here. If it’s full of Z listers then they will not!

The Royal Wedding we will have some sort of coverage here but we’ve been pretty low key on this event as the general vibe on the street here in London seems to be “we’ve had enough of the publicity and the word “Royal Wedding” day in day out ………..thanks for the day off……… lets just get on with it”. That’s the vibe here in London anyway amongst us mere mortals. Having said that we wish them all the best they look a cracking couple. If we can get photos they will be here and of course there is a stack of celebs invited, photos of them again if we can get them will also be here.

The usual end of week film reviews will also be appearing either Friday or Saturday!

Little bits and pieces of extra celeb news stuff  and me having a laugh will be on our Twitter page. If you see two dogs with shades with tongues hangin out …..our new logo……that’s us!

Things are heating up on this latest outing of the Twilight series called Breaking Dawn which has moved from being filmed in Vancouver and is now currently being filmed in the island of St Thomas which is one of the aptly named US Virgin Islands to get those Bella and Edward romping love scenes underway.. A Bikini flashing Kristen Stewart, a torso flashing Robert Pattinson, and romping and lots of it, it’s all hot stuff, took place on set between this real life couple and we don’t think there were any complaints even after Take 10!

The question is this “will all this stuff make it into the film as it is a PG13 rated film?” We think the scenes will, but they will be heavily edited with things popping up in the way or just cut out completely leaving you with a “is that it” experience. Better grab the pics below just out on the Daily Mail below it’s probably the best you are going to get:

Names like Bruno Mars, Blake Lively (with new red  barnet??), and La La Vasquez headed the line up of the TIME 100 Gala, TIME’S 100 Most Influential People In The World Event celebrating the Time mag issue of the same name. 

The event was held at the Frederick P. Rose Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York last night. Other names strutting their stuff included Amy Poehler, Sting and Mark Wahlberg plus Kerry Washington, Twilight’s and Up In The Air star Anna Kendrick and Glee’s Chris Colfer all decided to grace their presence!
