A quick look at Jessie J the rapidly rising Essex warbler who looks set to take the US by storm. With her recent performance live on Jay Leno apparently according to sources, getting a standing ovation on the show (a rare thing indeed) she also has a new single out called “Nobody’s Perfect”. The Video. Colourful, bold and in your face with Jessie J comin at ya in her inevitable style. It delivers the goods and fits the song a treat and is a slick polished production.
The Song. A slightly GaGaish philosophical start but once things get moving the song springs into life launching Jessie J into her characteristic vocals. Attitude, boldness and trademark decent vocals, lyrics are reasonable and there’s plenty going on within the musical mix. Technically way above average and a decent number. Rating 3.5 stars + launching her firmly into the big name music star mix.. Having a nit pick., it just needs a bit more energy somewhere to clinch that 4 star rating, just a tad, that’s all that’s lacking, a bit more Red Bull please…………6 cans!!
