Jennifer Lawrence of Winters Bone fame and Kelly Ripa of Regis and Kelly fame were in New York on the Letterman show last night being grilled and charmed in the inevitable Letterman style   (it always works),  to get the latest info and insider goss on what is going on in their lives and career. Of course it’s all  strictly confidential stuff and all kept very private and is  just between two people,  a studio audience, the band, film crew and umpteen million TV viewers in the US. Very popular film this one, getting the promo treatment here in London at present, a personal fave amd my kinda film……do love  a laugh. Warner Bros in their infinite wisdom have decided to make a Number 2 of Hangover and a what good move that is. This time the Hangover crew end up in Bangkok……….God help us? The film premiered last night  and was held at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre  in Los Angeles and the stars came out for this one.This film it has to be said has got it’s work cut out to beat the first offering, if it gets close it will have done it’s job.

The Jersey Shore crew have been in Florence, Italy for  a week or so and this is just a look out and curiosity post to see how this  Gym Tan Laundry (GTL) reality crew are getting on with the locals in sunny Florence in Italy. Love them or hate them you’ve got to hand it to these reality stars and the show, it’s still going, they are still here which just proves Jersey Shore is no flash in the pan when it comes to TV ratings as this thing is now into Season 4. All the characters have become household names in their own right with Pauly D, Mike The Situation, J Woww and of course not forgetting Nicole Snooki (our fave) being the more prominent names that spring to mind.

If you are a Belieber this is for you, but please………..no screaming!  Justin Bieber heart throb to teenage girls the world over, and still is, even after his  trimmed new barnet look, which just goes to show you’ve either got it or you haven’t. As fans are painfully aware he is on his world tour which is currently in Asia and recently took in Taiwan (check our Twitter Page for pics) and now he is in Japan.

Some lucky Japanese students got to meet the phenonemom that is Mr Bieber in person and some were lucky enough to get a cuddle or a hug from the boy wonder. “I’ve been hugged” by Justin Bieber has got to be pretty much up there on the Bieber fan points spectrum. There was a serious reason for this visit though as the students here were all affected by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami which shook the world in media and shock terms with the power of its destruction. This Bieber event  was held  at the U.S. ambassador’s residence on May 18, 2011 in Tokyo, Japan. grab the pics below. Awwww

Beyonce "Girls" Who Run The World. Official Video and Review!

It’s here….. It’s out……. At last! Girls (Who Run The World) by Beyonce aired last night on US TV and this was also released on Beyonce’s Vevo Channel at pretty much the same time. It’s 7 hours old at present (UK Time) and still smouldering. The US have probably seen this and moved on, the rest of the world probably hasn’t. Enough of the waffle. Lets chuck this thing through the griller!

The video. From the teasers you could tell the video at least looked decent. First impressions are “It’s Big”. Plenty going on here and that’s putting it mildly and extensive wildlife. Why does this video remind me of Tina Turner and that old Mad Max film. Some similarities here. Beyonce shines here amidst the crowd and reminds me of her old Destiny Child days, she shines brighter than the rest. Hyenas on dog leads….nice touch. Beyonce looking very different here, it’s original and  creatve and very earthy sexy. A sort of urban theme here but set in a non urban desert environment. Considering the location still think they could have done more with this vid , but very good none the less and definetly worth the wait!

We won’t mention Gossip Girl?  Mandy Moore and Kellan Lutz are the main stars in this film but Jessica Szohr grabs the headline. Other stars were also at the premiere   (see arrivals list) of IFC Films’ ‘Love, Wedding, Marriage’ at the Pacific Design Center last night in Los Angeles. A smallish event. Other names at the event included Doug Reinhardt, Kellan Lutz and Jane Seymour amongst others.

It looks like after the Gossip Girl recent reshuffle where Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen were relieved of their duties, Jessica Szohr has gone for a new look and looks like she is in demand outside of TV circles?

So what’s Love Wedding Marriage all about? It’s a romantic comedy film directed by Dermot Mulroney, starring Mandy Moore and Kellan Lutz.. The story goes something like this. A happy newly wed marriage counselor’s views on wedded bliss get thrown for a loop when she finds out her parents are getting divorced. Haven’t checked the reviews on this, not sure in a rom com saturated film market this is going to set the world alight in box office terms!?
