Hope you are sitting down for this one? Lady Gaga as you may be aware has a new album out officially on the 23rd (so we’ve been told) called “Born This Way”. Singles are currently flying out of this thing pre launch like a pack of greyhounds out of the starting gates chasing an electric rabbit.. It was announced on our Twitter Page yesterday that we would have a link out for this new album on 18th May and here it is.

Metro the Free Paper seem to have come up with a special deal with Lady Gaga who visited their offices the other day whilst over here in London.This deal  is for UK residents only and will not work outside the UK. You can listen to the full album tracks (yes full album) via the link below but can only listen to the album for 3 times and the live stream may not work on some smartphones.

Be prepared for this specially made microsite  to crash pretty sharpish or for the site to be removed. Any problems you may want to check out these Gaga links below  as a little bird tells me something could be going on there as well. This announcement was made by Metro at 7am UK Time precisely. We are just messengers endorsing that headline!

The  Fox Upfront 2011 Event took place yesterday at Wollman Rink – Central Park  in New York and  the names from TV land turned out for this one. The US X Factor judge panel were there including Simon Cowell who wouldn’t miss this for nothing, the back on board Paula Abdul, L.A Reid and Brit X Factor judge now turned US judge Cheryl Cole and also host for the show Nicole Scherzinger just back to the US after performing live at the Radio 1 Big Weekend in the UK. Other names that were part of the guest list included Zooey Deschanel, Cat Deeley and Jaime Pressly amongst others.

Highlight of the night from what we have seen from the photos though is Simon Cowell putting his arm round Paula Abdul on the red carpet and getting very cosy with her, a sort of sorry hug and welcome back? For the fashionistas out there Cheryl Cole was in a plain all red number and hair looks to be back to normal…….no massive hair here!

What a total palava this is? This post has come about as we are getting a lot of confused searches for this video. Beyonce and this now infamous “Girls” Who Run The World” official video which was supposed to be released last week on Friday, (that never happened) now does have an official release date ……….ISH?

It’s been confirmed that the official release date of the video will be released sometime this week but no date as yet. Great that’s helpful? BUT  according to a source (semi reliable) this video will be have it’s premiere on American Idol on the Wednesday show May 18th? So this could be on You Tube by Thursday……..ish?

All we have to say is this thing must be absolutely awesome with all the perfectionist goings on here. We hope it is and not yet another over hyped distinctly average offering  that we have seen from other big names. Review will be here when released. Could be interesting.  Now where’s those paracetamol?

Lady Gaga released a new single yesterday called “Hair” which is yet another number from her “Born This Way” Album. This is the audio version the full official video when released will be reviewed. First 30 seconds impressions? “Sands allwight innit!” and a bit different from her recent offerings. Lets see if the video is any better than “Judas”?

Lady Gaga has premiered another new track called “Marry The Night.” The opening track of Born This Way was released to FarmVille on Monday and is one of the three songs players will be able to preview exclusively before the album comes out. To anybody outside of the UK The Radio 1 Big Weekend could possibly fall on deaf ears with a shrug of the shoulders accompanied by “never heard of it”. This is what is called oin the trade “a weekender live music event” and the event was held over the weekend and  in quite an unusual location (an airport) and not in the most obvious of towns and that is Carlisle? Sounds a bit of non event? Think again!.

This event is a big deal herei in the UK and when you start to see the names that were at this event then you start to sit up and take notice. Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa  heading the line up, Nicole Scherzinger, Essex Girl taking the Us by storm Jessie J, Professor Green, on the rise star Olly Murs, Bruno Mars and  not forgetting the Radio 1 DJ names such as Fearne Cotton and Chris Moyles who thought they had better show their faces especially as Radio 1 are hosting this event. and there was more!

The Eurovision Song Contest 2011

Love it or hate it, the 2011 Eurovision Song contest was held over the weekend in Dusseldorf, Germany and this event being the finals and it’s a marathon of an event to watch. With Jedward those X Factor twins who are still around doing their thing for Ireland and pulling in huge audiences with 12.7 million UK viewers tuning in  for this years Eurovision song contest.  In comparison’s over on ITV Britains got Talent was over shadowed with only just over 9 million viewers. With Blue strutting their stuff for the Brit contingency, there was nothing in the win department for our sunny shores but then there was no “null” points  either. Azerbaijan were the winners of the event!

London and the UK  did feature in some shape or form in many of the successful acts.it was a Londoner from Azerbaijan who emerged triumphant part of the winning act that featured London mother Nigyar Djamal with her singing partner Eldar Kasimov. Other performers with  British connections included the Romanian entry, which was led by a man from County  Durham, and a rapper for Greece who is a lecturer at the University of Westminster. Just thought we’d get that in!

Britney Spears was amongst a host of names that performed at the KIIS FM’s Wango Tango event in LA over the weekend.  Britney performed an introduction at KIIS FM’s  (the hit LA Radio station) for the 2011 star studded music spectacular which was held at the Staples Center on May 14, 2011 in Los Angeles. Other names who were at the show on stage included Jennifer Lopez,  Ke$ha,  Matthew Morrison, Ne Yo,  Pitbull, Selena Gomez and T Pain,

KIIS FM Wango Tango Music Event LA Live Photos

The red carpet arrivals prior to this event were just as spectacular as the show itself with names such as Jordin Sparks, Nick Cannon, Paris Hilton, L L Cool J, Ryan Seacrest and Nick Jonas adding some celeb presence amongst a host of other stars. Britney Spears who performed live at this event doing the intro did it on the red carper for us again in an all pink number, she was spot on the money and yet another rare red carpet appearance.
