The Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards were held last night  at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA.  You could say this is similar to the recent UK Glamour Women of the Year Awards as it’s sponsored by the same people “Pandora” but awards women who are in the entertainment industry only and it’s a US thing. According to the WIF website the Women In Film’s purpose is to ” EMPOWER, promote and mentor women in the entertainment and media industries”

Some names were here including rising stars such as Elle Fanning who  is causing a stir in the media recently (Dakota Fanning’s sister) and established names such as Katie Holmes, and Gina Davies. Other stars included Rose McGowan, Annette Bening and more.  Warren Beatty  who is not a woman was also present. Katie Holmes without question shone on the night here on the red carpet and received the Face of the Future award!
