A new fragrance launch took place today in Central London and it’s a Kim Kardashian number. The venue was Debenhams in Oxford St and somebody called FJ decided to attend this event and see what the fuss is all about and get a couple of shots and say hello, can’t be more than 100 or so people there surely. Nice easy job……….in…click click…hi and out?

How wrong I was? Got there 12.20 and it started at 12 not a good start. Apparently fans waited outside Debenhams as early as 2 in the morning to meet Kim to get a glimpse and before the event. There were hundreds and with only 150 VIP passes (if you buy the perfume very clever) that give you any chance of seeing her you just know chaos is just around the corner especially as she is only here for 2 days and this is her 2nd day and the last time she was here seem to remember was September last year.

If you were in the press area (ha ha) you were laughing, if you were not, in some places the crowd was 20 people deep. Try the back entrance same problem there.At one stage fans were getting a bit manic and two policeman turned up to help the security guards to keep the KK fans under control. Total chaos not to mention the manic screaming?

Back to what the event was all about and that’s the launch of her new fragrance. Here’s some highly detailed information gleaned whilst at the event as the very nice very attractive promo girls couldn’t stop  spraying the stuff everywhere.

1.. It’s in a sort of black bottle although the promo stuff was in a purple one?
2. Initial reaction to the smell is “Sweet”

Got to say though as much as I like Kim the fragrance wasn’t cutting it here at all. Wasn’t impressed but that’s coming from a non fragrance expert Regardless will probably sell shed loads. She heads back to the states today and normality and peace will return to Debenhams! Check out the purple and orange Gucci ensemble pics below.
