Porcelain Black feat Eminem "How Do You Love Someone" Short Sampler and Letterman Arrivals Photos!

Porcelain Black was at the Letterman show yesterday along with Harrison Ford and The Edge, Bono and Patrick Paige. All big names but the focus is on Porcelain Black as she has a new number coming out soon called “How Do You Love Someone” hence the Letterman appearance and there is a sampler out in snippet form which is a massive ! minute in length below.  None of your 10 second waste of time irritating clips.

This number has a very interesting and head scratching feat of Eminem hence the focus. Our verdict? It’s OK not really our thing here, sounds a bit like a Bond theme it would make a good one, it’s safe middle of the road stuff and we are just intrigued how Eminem is going to feat on this as it’s not exactly his thing or genre either? Either way it will be interesting to see how this does in the charts with the Eminem presence and what he actually does within this song.

Important Changes to the Famefad Twitter!

Famefad onTwitter

Famefad on Twitter.

There’s been a few massive changes on the Famefad Twitter Page over the weekend , a bit of a reorg and a change of policy on who we follow and how we use it as we are looking to interact more with people and have a laugh but the headlines will still be there. Part of some big reorg going on behind the scenes at Famefad.com in preperation for the September onwards celebrity busy season, that is now not that far away. If this doesn’t get done now it will not get done for another 8 months or so. Here’s the latest developments, I don’t mince my words, but it is good news!

1. All news sources, PR, media and the like have been put on a media-pr private list and have been unfollowed so are no longer on our main timeline. 99% of these have tens or hundreds of thousands of followers and follow 186 or so,  the chances of getting followed are pretty much zero so they’ve gone on a list. It’s not really about being followed by these people I personally couldn’t care less that applies to celebrities as well, it’s they just bury everything on the timeline and I’m missing important tweets from a small core of celebrities that I follow and also from a select band of interesting people.  Having to keep going direct to their twitter page 4 or 5 times a day or more  to see if they have tweeted or not which is a pain and also makes me look a bit stalkerish which I’m not……..don’t have the time or the inclination. We still use these media news pr twitter users  but just watch them via a separate timeline in list format.

2. As a result of change No 1 our timeline is 90% quieter which means we are looking to start following new people instead of businesses news and media tweeps. If you’ve got something interesting to say, are a character or are an up and coming music artist, DJ, actor, band, blogger or a rising business person with an interesting timeline that engages with people instead of just spewing out business tweets all day long we will probably follow. If you’re none of these then we will probably list and we do that once a week on the weekends.

3. Existing celebrities and any other people as in non celebrity news tweeps followed prior to this weekend are unaffected and are still being followed.

So who do we follow? Here’s the mystery explained.

Kelly Rowland and new single "Lay It On Me" Audio!

Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland has got yet another single and follow up to the hugely successful and very tasty indeed Motivation. That song got the highest rating so far this year on this site and the charts verified that rating. A lot of talent here. That was a seriously good number and a tough one to follow up. This new one is called Lay It on Me which is a Hitboy produced number with a feat of Big Sean. This has been out a couple of days now on You Tube.

This version above is apparently the official single mix which hints that other mixes may be in the pipeline…………..maybe not  First impressions?

Snoop Dogg and the Lovebox Music Festival London. Photo Highlights!

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg

Lovebox the London Music Festival was held over this weekend and featured a classy lineup of names old and new with the event spanning 3 days from July 15th – July 18th and was held in Victoria Park in East London. We won’t mention the weather.

We were unfortunately (or fortunately) elsewhere in the dry but luckily Getty was there snapping and managed to get a few snaps of some stars from the massive lineup. The Latitude Festival was also on over the weekend in Southwold in Suffolk that was a 4 day event but we’ve gone with Lovebox due to the incredibly diverse lineup and of course it’s held on home turf as in London.

Lovebox is not just about the live music there’s also circus acts and other forms of music including DJ’s spinning their tunes in various marquee tents, it’s a sort of glasto without the camping.. Crowd was apparently  as 50K or near that mark. No videos on this here but there’s plenty of amateur footage over at You Tube.

Lovebox Day 2 Photos

Snoop Dogg without a doubt grabs the headline here and was probably responsible for the event selling out pretty sharpish with tickets priced at near £100 or so for the main  full monty days. He’s been around a while and has stood the test of time.  Snoop Dogg did a one hour set including tunes such as Gin & Juice and What’s My Name plus more  Photo highlights are from Day 2 and Day 3 and these are from the main performer stages.

Are Slutterhouse going to take the musical world by storm?

You may have heard of them, maybe not. Found this band on Twitter when looking for people to follow in the early days of Famefad and the name “Slutterhouse” leaped out. Conjuring up images of a house full of scantily clad sweaty women of jaw dropping credentials attending to your every need no questions asked 24/7 and 365 and of course gratis.. “I can handle some of that” and “this is right up my street” were some other thoughts that came into mind. SO we dived in and followed Slutterhouse and we’ve never looked back although I haven’t met any scantily clad women through them yet.

Slutterhouse are a Parisian/Beirut based band comprising Rabih Salloum and Nabil Saliba. that straddles some interesting musical genres and according to the official website they have this to say about their music.

Leona Lewis New Single 'Collide' Premieres on Scott Mills Radio 1!

A name we haven’t heard from for a while but Leona Lewis arguably still one of the best things to come out of X Factor in talent terms looks to be heading back into the fray. Bleeding Love as everybody knows is her signature tune, it’s a superb number and personally one I think she may have equalled a couple of times but never beaten. Renowned more for her ballad style than the faster pacier numbers but she is capable of doing both tempos with ease, the sign of a good artist. A lot of talent here and worthy of the title DIVA! She has gone all Hollywood in the looks department on us and from the general vibe from You Tubers seems to be “Oh Yess”. As regulars know I do love fame based on talent and not  fame based on  hype. Leona thankfully is firmly the former!

Her new number coming your way soon is called simply “Collide”. It just premiered on the Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1 today a couple of hours ago, the sound on this is out of this world sampler vid above of HD quality. Verdict from us RATHER DECENT but maybe not for everybody! You Tubers at the time of writiing were 25 likes and 7 dislikes. If you wanted to make a song to say you are back with a bang, this does the job very nicely indeed! Different from her previous offerings which is good.

Official video when it drops will of course be here. Collide will be avialable on September 4th!
